The Singularity
Another good episode.
+ I loved the Jemma/Hive scene. I loved that she shot him. It's so wrong but they had so much chemistry in that scene and now I kind of ship it.
+ What exactly was Hive doing with Jemma? Why didn't he kill her? Why did he bring up Will? He seems to have mostly contempt for humans so it doesn't make much sense. He also could have easily killed her after she shot him. So why let her (and Fitz) live? Between that and his scenes with Daisy (and his revenge on Malick) I wonder if the various hosts he's taken over the millennia have more of an affect on him then it might first seem? Just how far could that go?
+ "I thought it would be cool if the director of SHIELD had a shield." It is indeed very cool! I love that Coulson got an energy shield added to his robot arm. Both very useful and awesome!
+ Coulson outfitting Lincoln with a bomb vest was, well, insane. Lincoln was completely right. I mean what the fuck, Coulson?!!
+ "Because somehow sacrificing him is okay with you. I'll do your dirty work Phil, but don't you dare pretend your hands are clean." - May. I loved this. For all that Coulson protested that he didn't mean it like that May is right - Lincoln is expendable to him. He would never do that to Daisy. And him using May this way was so thoughtless. I loved May smacking him with some hard truths. I enjoyed their scenes as a whole.
+ I liked the Jemma/Mack scene. Particularily Mack asking if Jemma thinks they'll get Skye back and her replying "we have to".
+ I loved this fun little May/Mack exchange at the beginning:
"People don't come to me with their feelings." - May
"Yeah, that makes sense." - Mack
Heh. I loved the look she threw him.
+ "You'd get Daisy back and the three of you can live as a small messed up family again." - Lincoln. I don't know I really like them as a messed up family unit and Coulson and May as Skye's parent substitutes. I liked him saying out loud to May that she's the closest thing he has to a daughter.
