Episode 7
+ I really love that it's Ki-tae who's falling in love first. I love that he's spent all this time criticizing, lecturing and giving Jang-mi advice only to fall himself. I love watching him realise that his feelings for her are a lot stronger than he imagined.
+ The little mini party with the three of them at the end was delightful. I loved everything about it. I love that Ki-tae ended up having fun too. I loved him doing his bachelor dance again and the three of them laughing at it together.
+ Jang-mi setting up Ki-tae and Yeo-reum as roommates was the best terrible idea ever. I loved Yeo-reum running around touching everything just like Jang-mi did the first time she was over and Ki-tae's 'off limits!' about absolutely everything. The fact that Yeo-reum crawled into Ki-tae's bed during the night because it was cold and Ki-tae's reaction when he woke up spooning him was hilarious. I loved that Ki-tae made checked to make sure Yeo-reum was still dressed and Yeo-reum's ever present amusement about it. Yeo-reum calling Ki-tae cute after he drove away without him was also great.
+ I love how Jang-mi just keeps letting herself into Ki-tae's apartment.
+ It actually really bugged me that post-party their bowls were still full of pasta.
Episode 8
+ I'm enjoying Ki-tae/Jang-mi/Yeo-reum.
- Ki-tae moving Jang-mi to his bed was sweet but I loved that he just dropped her on it like a sack (lol) and then it was back to sweet when he made sure the blanket was completely covering her.
- I loved Ki-tae and Yeo-reum once again spooning in their sleep and everyone's reactions to that. I liked how unruffled Yeo-reum was and then him checking on Ki-tae's fever. But how did they even get in that position? That makes no sense.
- I liked Yeo-reum inviting Ki-tae over to the table to join them for dinner. And that he got a drink for Ki-tae too.
+ I loved Jang-mi and Ki-tae's silent communication during the family meeting.
+ So how much of Ki-tae continuing The Lie was because he couldn't bear to tell So-nyeo the truth to her hopeful and friendly face and how much because he can't stand the idea of Jang-mi dating Yeo-reum?
+ "Go wash my car. And wash your heart too." - Hoon-dong. I loved him unexpectedly being so protective of Ki-tae. Him deciding to step back from Jang-mi (lol) despite his feelings because Ki-tae is in love with her is rather sweet. As is him warning off Yeo-reum and him being suspicious that Yeo-reum is trying to get between him and Ki-tae too.
+ Bong-hyang is diabolical. She really is. She should have taken this tact from the very beginning because it's both terrible and done so well. Poor Jang-mi. I can't wait for Jang-mi to stand up to her. She keeps starting to and then bows to the pressure.
Episode 9
Considering how this episode ends I find myself worried about the final six episodes and if the show dragging things out to fill all of them will feel contrived and, well, drag as so many kdramas often do.
+ This episode just jumped the relationships forward and not only for Ki-Tae but also Jang-mi. Ki-tae admits out loud to everyone that he likes Jang-mi and then ends the episode by kissing her! But Jang-mi took a lightning jump forward by realising that she has feelings for him too. I feel like this is the first time that it's actually crossed her mind that he means more to her than something fake.
+ I do enjoy Hoon-dong turning his childish ridiculousness towards being a good friend. Him attacking Yeo-reum for taking off with his best friend's girl was fun and that last shot of him chasing Yeo-reum with the sign made me laugh. And then later with miming 'I'm watching you' and the 'you're dead' finger across the throat gestures - lol. I ended up feeling bad when no one wanted to ask him a Truth/Drink question.
+ Poor Yeo-reum. But we all knew this was coming.
+ Woooow. ... Yeo-reum can feel free to keep his shirt off as long as he wants.
+ I love Ki-tae's ridiculousness. Refusing to help Yeo-reum with Hoon-dong, putting his shirt back on at the beach after Yeo-reum took his off (heh, poor Ki-tae), trying to act above it all when the others started playing in the water before joining in.
+ Everyone enjoying the surf was really nice to see. I enjoyed the Truth game too.
+ I liked Se-ah and Ki-tae both smiling when Jang-mi complained about sitting between them.
+ I find it hard to be that sorry for Hyun-hee considering what she did to get herself into this situation. Plus she's once again falling back on manipulation to try and get her way - Ki-tae had it right that she made it easy for them all to find her.
