Marriage, Not Dating Episode 10
May. 14th, 2016 11:05 pm+ I'm very much enjoying Ki-tae's pining.
+ I loved the scene of them leaving the Fortunetellers. So-nyeo's bringing up how great 'that thing' is between them as she leaves and her laughing as she walks away, and Jang-mi's gasps of horror made me laugh. I loved Ki-tae thanking her and the two of them blowing kisses at each other.
+ "I'll make it so that you don't feel small in front of that woman." - So-nyeo. I really loved this. It was a pretty touching scene and So-nyeo's desire for Jang-mi to have everything that she herself never did is so sad. Something about the fact that she's willing to go to any lengths - including selling her house and business - not so that Jang-mi could marry rich but so Jang-mi would never be made to feel less in front of Bong-hyang really got to me. Now I'm a little mad at Jang-mi because her mom is going to be so upset when the truth comes out.
+ I really liked how Jang-mi handled the situation at the end. I love that she refused to back down and cleared the air not only by bringing up the cheating but telling Bong-hyang straight out that she's the reason Ki-tae doesn't want to get married. I like that it felt like Jang-mi was doing this not only for Ki-tae but also in a way for Bong-hyang. Jang-mi empathising with Bong-hyang's hurt and telling her that she needs to be happy not just look it was a great little moment between them.
+ I love that Hoon-dong was genuinely trying to be a good friend and was all supportive of Ki-tae's secret relationship with Yeo-reom. Even if he freaks out about Ki-tae touching him. That's kind of terrible. But he is trying. Also Ki-tae continuing to try to touch him, apparently just to see how he'd react amused me.
+ At this point I just don't like Hyun-hee. Her actions at the beginning were 100% calculated and manipulative. I'm bizarrely fond of Hoon-dong so I'm not pleased about what she's doing. I can't even tell if she chose him because she genuinely likes him or if she only likes that he's rich and easy to manipulate. I really hope they don't end up together.
