Person of Interest 5x02 & 5x03 Thoughts

This was a really fun episode.
• Finch/Root throughout the episode were wonderful. The list scene was a delight. Her hugging him and "thanks roomie", his adorable smile in response, her smacking is ass and his reaction - lol. I love them working together. I loved Harold refusing to leave Root. I loved Root telling him it would be okay because she trusted him with her life and then giving him a little pep talk. "You're Harold Finch." - I love her trust and belief in him.
• The Harold/Machine conversation was nice. I loved how he treated her as more than just a machine. I loved "I will never hurt you again." I loved that she apologised.
• Reese/Finch had a couple nice moments. The scene where they robbed the warehouse was great. I loved the fist bump and Finch's muttered "Show off." made me laugh. This exchange was great:
"Finch how did you teach you're Machine to be good?" - Reese
"By example." Finch, as puts on black ski mask.
LOL.
+ Also I loved: "And don't sigh! You complain of free time, this is what you get." - Finch. and Reese's reaction.
• Aw, Team Machine picnic. That's the best. I loved them all laughing at Reese in the bowling shirt.
• I love how they sometimes tie the opening credits into the episode itself.
• The Machine's musical faces was hilarious. My favourite line was "Cool your jets Johnny-boy, you're the muscle, Harry is the maestro."
• "And the whole thing is wireless. [remote shuts door] Hahaa!" - Finch, grinning. So freaking adorable!
• I love how confused Root looked after Finch gave in so easily on keeping the Machine's system open.
• I enjoyed Lionel being a hero but clearly he's been spending way too much time with Reese.
• I found it interesting that we got Reese considering that perhaps Samaritan isn't all bad and now I'm wondering if instead of destroying Samaritan they'll end up saving it by changing how it views the world.
• I was meh on the flashbacks this time.
• "There are no heroes, no villains. Just people doing the best they can." Sure if you mean some of those people are doing the best they can at being horrible. That said for the most part I do agree with Finch here.
5x03 'Truth Be Told'
It honestly felt like a filler episode which is weird and a little annoying considering how few episodes there are left. It also feels a little weird because this episode could honestly be dropped anywhere in past seasons and fit in just fine.
• Reese/Iris continued to be very meh for me - although 'hi sweetheart' was cute - so them breaking up at the end made me happy.
• I don't get why the last two episodes have been emphasising so hard how alone and lonely Reese is because he's really not! He has Finch, and Fusco and even Root. Shaw when they get her back. Even Bear. He has a made family, a place to belong, a purpose. He went bowling last week! I wonder where they're going with this.
