Nevermore

I liked it.

• I was a little disappointed because we finally get everyone together again but there were some character interactions I wanted but didn't get. I wanted that Clarke/Monty hug (did they even say a word to each other?), or Clarke/Miller (since he was worried about her during the last episode), or that Clarke/Ocatavia scene we need (she was going to come!). But it was so nice to see all of them interacting again and working together as a team. I loved everyone working as one to save Raven at the end. Please let us keep this for the rest of the season.

• While I wanted more there were some little moments that were great.

- Monty/Octavia got to have a road trip and bonding moment. :(

- There was an unexpected but lovely Sinclair/Clarke exchange about Raven. I love Sinclair's love for Raven.

- Octavia and Clarke at Raven's side begging her to be okay and wake up after the EMP. The way Clarke says "Please" gave me so many Clarke/Raven feelings. Then their reactions when she woke up were lovely.

• I really hope that in the next episode we have some more time for some one-on-one moments. I especially want Clarke to talk to someone I honestly don't care who - Octavia, Raven or Bellamy are at the top of my list - about Lexa and what happened. And maybe about her overwhelming guilt for so many thing. And then get a damn hug. I joked in the last review about Clarke and Octavia bonding over their dead loves but seriously I want it. Let them talk through their pain with someone who understands. Also some poor Monty comforting.

• Raven's smack downs of Jasper and Bellamy were so satisfying. Jasper, especially. Maybe my favourite moments of the ep. Everything she said about Jasper was spot on (well the first part.) I also want to know why Bellamy gets a pass for Mount Weather with him. I don't blame Bellamy for his mom's death but I liked Raven bringing up the culling among the other massacre's he's been involved in.

"The good little knight. By his queen's side." I love the way that Clarke and Bellamy immediately fall back into working as a team. It makes me happy.

• I actually don't mind that Clarke has apparently forgiven Bellamy for everything he did without even saying anything. That's what they do - they forgive each other. Plus Clarke wasn't in Arkadia while Bellamy was with Pike. She only had that one emotional scene with him but otherwise everything else is just stuff she's heard. In her mind she only sees the Bellamy who pulled the lever with her, who came for her when Roan had her prisoner, who has had her back and supported her. She's done terrible things that haunt her too, things that have gotten people she cared about killed/hurt. They understand each other. So I was fine with it.

What didn't work for me was Clarke telling Bellamy "there are no good guys". That worked really well during the Clarke/Abby scene but here, with what Bellamy did [murdering 300 people in their sleep, killing those two messengers for no reason] it ends up feeling... dismissive? Too pat? idk, it didn't entirely work for me.

• Jasper is once again back to being a whiny dick. Shut up, shut up, SHUT UP! You are not special! Everyone has goddamn lost someone they loved! Everyone had had to do horrible things and have lived through horrible things and are just as messed up as you! Frankly most of them more so.

His attitude with Clarke pisses me off so much. Her guilt has made her so much nicer towards him than he deserves. I did like her sincere apology and his reaction to it. But his line about him "saving everyone" was so delusional. Yeah, he was going to solve everything with his knife. That is not how that situation would have gone. I loved Clarke's "I wish you could." It was super gracious and I'm sure she damn well does. I wish that scene had ended with him breaking down in tears and them making up and the healing process starting.

Jasper yells in one of his lashing outs at Clarke that she "doesn't give the orders" except yeah, she does. Because everyone expects her to. They keep turning to her to make choices and to fix things and then after she does they yell at her about it. Which fair enough since there were some bad choice/consequences but then they keep expecting her to lead. And when she leaves they get mad at her for that too! It's frustrating.

• Yay Raven. I'm so glad she's back to normal and back with her people and hopefully this is the start of things becoming better for her. (Haha, I crack myself up.)

• Lindsey Morgan was amazing. I love her acting as ALIE.

• God, poor Monty. Hannah was terrible but I feel so bad for him for having to do that. That scene in the jeep as they head back was so sad.

• I guess there really was no better way to prove to Octavia that she does belong somewhere - not Skaikru, not Trikru but the 100 - than one of the 100 killing a family member to save her life.

• I enjoyed Octavia shooting down Bellamy's attempts to fix their relationship and her truth telling. I'm hoping her new acceptance of her place in the world doesn't mean forgiveness for Bellamy. That would really be far too quick.

• I loved the way Clarke took ALIE 2 back from Jasper. The reverent why she cradled it and the expression on her face. Also the way she says "That's LEXA". Oh, Clarke.

• I was torn on Clarke leaving ALIE 2 on the table with Jasper standing there. On one hand, she left it there to save Raven, and as soon as she figured out a way to save her she didn't appear to give the chip another thought. Aw. On the other hand, omg Clarke! That chip is important for so many reasons don't just leave it sitting there!

• I wish we'd had a scene in there where Clarke tells everyone about what the chip she has is - an AI passed down through the Commanders - so that when she screamed out that it was Lexa in there it would have made a little more sense.

• I loved Octavia leaving Niylah the lantern for the clothes she took. A very throwaway moment that shows exactly the kind of person she is.

• Clarke on the other hand treated Niylah terribly. She shouldn't have let Bellamy force her help at gunpoint. She should have told the truth though I understand why she lied. I am glad that they ended at a better place and Clarke apologised and warned her to run.

• I wish Monty had tried pulling his mom off Octavia before pulling the gun. I think it would have played out this way regardless but it would have felt more like he'd tried everything first. ... Actually why couldn't he have knocked her out?

• Why would ALIE only send one person to the drop ship? That made no sense to me considering how important finding Raven was. Send Hannah in first and if it doesn't work have six or seven more people waiting back to take them.

• Okay Clarke may actually be living up to her Wanheda title here consider the fact that her letting Raven get to her lead to ALIE sending Hannah to the drop ship lead to Monty having to kill his mother. [I hope this doesn't ruin Monty and Clarke's friendship.]

On the other hand the things that Raven were throwing in Clarke's face were all sore spots/guilt magnets but not actually anything I think she could be blamed for? No one saw Charlotte instability or what she would do. Finn's instability and actions were not Clarke's fault regardless of his stated reason for doing it and she did everything she could to save him. Her dad's death wasn't her fault in any way. Lexa's death - a bit in that it wouldn't have happened without her there or her relationship with Lexa but at the end of the day everyone's actions are their own. Lexa chose to pursue "blood must not have blood" and Titus chose to pursue a kind of dumb assassination attempt on Clarke. There were actual things Clarke has done that would have made me sense - like the TonDC bombing (imo, biggest wtf no choice of hers) or Mount Weather.

• Also I actually caught the preview for the next episode and I am going to be mad if Harper or Miller get killed off. I mean seriously show?!
