Episode 13

I really liked this one.

+ Despite the drawing out of their reconciliation this was an amazing Ki-tae/Jang-mi episode.

- The hug was lovely especially Ki-tae's expression when Jang-mi returned it and the way he gently petted her hair, like he was awed that he was actually getting to hold her. Also kiss!

- I love that he didn't consider for a second that Jang-mi could have been working with the blogger. He was mad instead because once again his mother misunderstood Jang-mi and she was getting hurt because of being involved in his life.

- They were adorable walking back to his place, hesitantly holding hands and then helplessly grinning to themselves. Aww.

- That whole sequences at his apartment was gold. Ki-tae's reactions when he thinks that Jang-mi wants to have sex - his excitement and inability to stop grinning, his reaction after she kisses his cheeks and tells him to wash every nook and cranny, the fact that he then does exactly that (hahaha!), him spending so much time trying to get his hair right -- it was hilarious. And then instead she wants to clean, lol. The whole cleaning sequence was really cute.

- I just love how completely gone Ki-tae is on Jang-mi. Him smiling as he watched her swatting flies (while stalking her, lol, oh Ki-tae), him ordering huge orders of chicken via a substitute and then sadly eating it at home, just how happy he is every time he looks at her or thinks about her.

+ The end - with Jang-mi telling him they should 'date not marry' - should have bothered me but I actually really enjoy the way the two of them have switched roles from the first episode and it makes complete sense! Ki-tae is the stalking clingy boyfriend who is in love and wants to get married; Jang-mi is for the first time committed to thinking of herself first and wants to keep it cool while she figures things out. I actually really like that after all the heartache, not just her own but for their families, she doesn't want to just rush in.

+ I'm 100% behind Jang-mi/Yeo-reum going into business together. It's the perfect solution - she's got experience dealing with customers and is very personable, he's a great chef, they get along well together.

+ Jang-mi and Yeo-reum's back-and-forth - first over the money, then over her running the restaurant/cafe with him - was fun. Still not pleased with his hug stunt but by the end of the episode I was back to liking him.

+ "I like him a lot too." - Yeo-reum. Aww! I loved the two of them getting together to try and help Ki-tae with his blogger problem. I keep saying it but I love the three of them as a trio.

+ I liked Se-ah! I liked her being disgusted with the fact that Ki-tae isn't together with Jang-mi even after she sent him after her. I loved that she tried to help with the blogger issue - first by gathering material to counter sue and when Ki-tae was uninterested actually confronting the blogger herself, offering money and threats. I loved her in that confrontation scene. I especially loved that she stopped the blogger from hitting her.

+ I loved Jang-mi winning over the blogger by bonding with her over how terrible Ki-tae is. While drunk because this is Jang-mi.

+ "I am arrogant but I don’t have a sense of superiority. Because I am superior." - Ki-tae. LOL. I love that he read the blogger's complaints and was like 'yeah, true enough'.

+ I'm sad that Hoon-dong is finding married life so terrible. :( I just want him to be happy. He's an ass but he's also weirdly sweet and can be really caring. I did love him showing off his new look to Ki-tae - it was hilarious.

+ It was nice to see Hyun-hee trying to be a good friend to Jang-mi. Still don't like her.
