The 100 3x12 Review

I enjoyed it. I thought it was a very well done horror episode and a lot of fun.
+ I actually super loved the end confrontation scene. It really worked for me. Everyone all tied up in the airlock, Bellamy giving himself up for Octavia, Clarke going to her knees and even begging when ordered, Clarke fighting back and eventually using the Chip to kill Emerson and saving her friends. I really loved that it was Clarke using ALIE 2 that killed Emerson. It was kind of like her and Lexa killing him together after they let him live together.
+ I loved all the moments we got of Octavia and her grief. My favourite was the scene in their quarters - particularly her holding Lincoln's jacket, smelling it and then throwing it away from her in a tearful rage. But there was also her expression and distraction upon seeing the pool of his blood, her crying over his body and then her stoic devastation during the funeral and it all just really made me want someone to hug her. Seriously, anyone, give her a damn hug!
+ I loved that sequence during the funeral of first Raven and Octavia, the two who were closest to the dead and thus lost the most, on one side of the fire and then it shifting to Bellamy and Clarke, the two who were indirectly responsible for their deaths (in that their actions made it possible), directly opposite them on the other side of the fire.
+ Yay Clarke/Monty and Clarke/Raven hugs! Short and tiny bit perfunctory but still there so it made me happy. Also her little wave at the others amused me.
+ Nooo not Sinclair! Sinclair was awesome. Him begging Raven over and over to get back in the rover, the way he cupped her face, the way he kept repeating "it's okay" was so freaking sad! Legitimately one of the saddest moments on this show for me. He loves her so much and just wanted her safe! The fact that the last thing he saw when he died was Raven being dragged away [to probable death] was just cruel. :( Why would you do that show? And his death totally wasn't even necessary in any way!
+ I loved Clarke heading towards the music, Monty being all 'lets not... sigh, fine' and following her. Of course she'd investigate, of course he'd be sensible.
+ I loved Clarke faking Emerson out and escaping his smoke grenade trap.
+ The Clarke/Bellamy moments were nice. I've missed them being together. I loved him refusing to let her sacrifice herself.
+ I'm a little sad to see the group split up but I guess it makes sense. There are too many of them to all fit in the vehicle and it would be rude to just leave the B-team behind.
+ I knew Emerson was going to come back around to bite Clarke in the ass. But honestly I still think she made the right choice at the time.
+ The opening with Miller telling Harper a horror story was great.
+ I call bullshit on how Octavia was taken out. When Jasper stumbled, bloody, into the room and collapsed she sure as hell wouldn't go and kneel beside him with her attention away from the door. WTH? Octavia?? Nope.
+ I was actually rather impressed with the fact that Murphy was completely truthful with Emori. I feel like it really shows his growth as a person. And his luck is still in full swing - from the frying pan into the fire once again. Poor Murphy.
