The 100 3x15 Review

I loved it. I'm so excited to see how this plays out in the finale.
• Clarke not breaking under torture wasn't unexpected but her not breaking to save her mother was amazing. Every other person has given in to that sort of coercion but she knew she couldn't, the stakes were too high and Clarke always does what she has to. Clarke tearfully begging Abby not to do it was so sad.
• What I love about that last scene:
+ When Bellamy and Murphy enter the room the first thing Clarke says is "Bellamy stop him!" because in the end the mission is more important that even taking a second to beg for help for her mother would be too much.
+ The fact that upon entering Murphy sees hanging Abby first and immediately goes to help her. Yay to Murphy saving Abby. Also I bet he was having some flashbacks to his own hanging and to hanging Bellamy.
+ Clarke taking a moment after the boys saved the day to find out if her mom was alive before getting back to business and taking control of the situation.
• I was so sure that Jaha's expressions with regards to Clarke's reactions to Abby hanging herself meant that he was finally going to break free from ALIE.
• I love Roan. I was so happy when he appeared and of everyone in danger he might actually be the one I'm worried about most? He was still alive when the dragged him away and if they were going to kill him he would have been dead in that scene right? Right? Ah, I'm so worried.
• I'm still really shipping Clarke/Roan. It's my fourth favourite pairing, which is maybe a little silly considering how little we've seen of him but I just really love his interactions with Clarke a lot. Everything about them works for me. I loved him saving her again. I loved him batting away her gun and then turning to leave without retaliation. "You have a real graditude problem", lol. I loved her long pause before answering whether she trusts him. I really loved him giving Clarke his word that Ontari would know she'd helped save her. I loved him telling her to run when the plan went sideways. Basically I feel like Roan not only genuinely respects Clarke but he likes her too. If he survives the season I'd almost hope for them to hook up, he could help her with her ass-kicking skills, except that all her love interests die. ... Nah, I still would love them getting together.
• Roan took the whole ALIE situation a lot better than I was expecting. No skepticism at all. It was a little weird actually. He would have no basis for AIs, what they were saying has to sound insane and they had no real proof.
• Jasper, you dumbass. Of course he took a chip. Because everything sucks so why not betray all his friends? Ugh.
• I did love Jasper listing off all their dead thus far [he's going to be at it for awhile!] especially the way he keeps adding 'death by Clarke'. My favourite bit was "Atom, acid fog... then death by Clarke." LOL. Funniest moment of the episode.
• "But you'll be covering us the entire time. I trust you." - Clarke to Bellamy. Lovely moment between them. I also loved Bellamy following Clarke at the beginning and saving her from Roan (well, mostly saving the Flame from kidnapping.)
• I loved Clarke apologising to Lexa/the Flame at the beginning.
• We actually got a nice little Clarke/Raven scene! "You worry about the nightblood, I'll worry about ALIE." With Raven's snarky comment on Clarke last episode this had the potential to be a lot more pickly then it turned out. Instead it came off as them working as a team again. I loved Clarke's head nod.
• Yay for more hugs. I loved Clarke's with Monty and Raven the best, though Bellamy hugging Raven goodbye was excellent too. Just all the hugs, everyone on this show needs a damn hug at least once an episode.
• I was worried when Clarke actually gave the Flame to Roan so I loved her changing the plan because she refused to let the Flame out of her sight.
• We got a couple great reunions:
+ I was so happy to see Indra and Octavia reunited and Indra once again taking on her mentor role with Octavia.
+ I loved Indra jumping back into possible death to save Kane. Because they're friends and he's important to her, aww. Also when Miller set off the bomb Indra covered unconscious Kane.
+ This exchange between Murphy and Miller was great:
"You've looked better." - Murphy
"You haven't." - Miller
+ The there was Murphy and Bellamy finally reunited. Their scenes were great. I loved them in the elevator fight. I loved Bellamy saving him and that shoulder clutch afterwards. Them working together as a team was great.
• I actually kind of love our team being forced to work with Pike. Octavia's seething hatred every time she looked at him (which was a lot) and Indra's pragmatism were great.
• So Raven realises she can't remember Finn, and thus a lot of her past, and it allows her to break ALIE's hold but Abby tortures Clarke and that isn't enough? That surprises me. Raven's awesome but why has she been the only one to break free thus far?
• "Clarke's always in trouble." - Murphy. Hee, true enough. But of course he stays to help.
