I like this one.

Episode 1

+ Young Soo-ha comforting Hye-sung and promising to protect her was adorable. All their flashback scenes were lovely and I loved how that ties into who Soo-ha is in the current day - protecting people [his schoolmate from the prank), taking Taekwondo (so he'll be ready to protect Hye-sung) and still looking for Hye-sung (while writing everything in her journal).

+ I love the mom. She is wonderful. The scene where she confronts the judge while burning his books and the money was great and I really loved the scene after they walk away and she reveals the notes on her hand and is all upset about missing one of the points she wanted to say. The relationship between her and Hye-sung in the flashbacks was lovely. Also she's played by Kim Hae-sook who I really like.

Episode 2

+ I like Hye-sung quite a bit as is - jaded, world-weary, unapologetic and pragmatic - but I can't wait to see her become more passionate and engaged.

+ I loved everything with Soo-ha and Hye-sung. Him practising how to greet her was cute as was his barely contained glee as he followed her home. Him fixing the streetlight so she'd feel safe made me go aww.

I loved him revealing his mind-reading ability to her. How brave was that? He was already so let down by the truth of her but he still reveals his deepest secret. Her response was probably a nightmare he's had before, poor guy. But while she gets self-conscious here and there and hides her eyes she just as often meets his eyes and in the end purposefully uses his ability to communicate with him which I loved.

The scene where he follows her home is great in part because you watch him building her up even more in his mind all while knowing that he's in for a big fall. Then the fall happens and we get his disbelief and then complete disillusionment. And yet he also can't let her go. He throws out the book in a fit or anger and disgust but almost immediately picks it up again because he's spent the last 10 years waiting for her and promising himself that he'd protect her. Clearly he's going to be helping her rediscover doing to right thing because it's the right thing, y/y?

+ I love that Kwan-woo learned sign language just in case it was helpful. He's sweet.

+ Do-yeon grew up to be super pretty. She also appears to be really good at her job as a prosecuter - which I'm really curious to learn more about. Did she choose this path because of what happened with the car accident? I find it interesting that she thought Sung-bin was innocent [her comparison of Sung-bin to Hye-sung in the firework incident] and yet was still going to go after her with an attempted murder charge.

+ The judges coming upon Hye-sung as she circled in the revolving door throwing a yelling and swearing fit amused me a lot.

Episode 3

+ Hye-sung calling the number and hearing it ring in her apartment was so creepy. Well done show.

+ I love Hye-sung's mom. I love how she's both completely supportive [talking Hye-sung up to her colleagues] but will always administer a much need smack down if necessary. Their phone call was lovely, the fact the she has complete faith in her daughter was really touching and her reaction to Hye-sung's win was adorable.

+ Soo-ha and Hye-sung had a couple of cute moments. Her thinking he was asking for a kiss in reward and actually kissing her hand and pressing it to his face was kind of adorable and I loved his reaction - all 'i have to wash my face now' to her [lol sure, I immediately thought that he was never washing his face again] and then smiling over it while alone. The scene in the computer lab with him eyeing her schoolgirl uniform clad self and her being all "I knowww. I'm embarrassed too." was cute (though I don't think he found it embarrassing.)

+ Soo-ha is pretty comfortable with touching Hye-sung and I'm not sure how I feel about it. There are little touches here and there [like on the bus] but then there are the big things like him grabbing her in episode 2 and then actually carrying her away! This episode had him leaning behind her at the computer, pressed cheek-to-cheek and putting his hands over hers to use the computer. I'm kind of enjoying it but at the same time boundaries dude!

+ I loved Soo-ha's eyeroll at Hye-sung's bragging.

+ Hye-sung not knowing how to do a history search, not even knowing what it was!, was too unbelievable for me.

+ Kwan-woo fangirling Hye-sung was really cute. I liked all her co-workers coming together in the end to help her.
