I Hear Your Voice Episode 6
Jul. 10th, 2016 09:43 amAbandoned Alone by the Whole World
I am really enjoying this drama.
+ Hye-sung purposefully using his ability to tell him that he's holding her down was just cruel.
+ Hye-sung's ego is kind of a thing of beauty - "It's because I am better than the average person"? LOL.
+ I loved that Kwan-woo's take-away from seeing Hye-sung meeting Do-yeon was to be moved by how passionate it shows Hye-sung for her to be out at the crime scene at 7:30. Heh. Also his line about how of course he'd do it but he wasn't expecting it from her made me lol.
+ I loved Soo-ha stepping in front of Hye-sung before he said anything about the pickpocket.
+ I get that both brothers were claiming not to have done it but why didn't Hye-sung bother to ask why they might have done it? I like that the show gave a motive that just made the case more morally complicated and then how Hye-sung ties it back to her and Soo-ha's situation at the end.
+ I really can't blame lawyer Shin for being mad at her. He was completely right and frankly if this is all that happens to her (being the office pariah again) she's getting off lightly.
+ Joon-gook seemed genuinely touched by Choon Shim making him a birthday dinner so maybe he won't horribly murder her?? That would be nice! It could be an interesting twist if he ends up genuinely caring for her. Sure, at the end he throws the dinner away but it's early yet and he did have that moment of emotion. Thus far he's mostly a 2 dimensional villain - smart and super, super creepy - but not much more than the villain so getting something else from him could be interesting. I'm very interested in his motive for killing Soo-ha's father.
+ "I don't think she was wrong. I think we are just different." I love Kwan-woo defending her and I really loved the call back to Hye-sung and Soo-ha's conversation earlier.
+ Hye-sung I love you but please stop being so embarrassing! Also I completely understand her desire to be validated and acknowledged to be right/good - especially considering her past and the fireworks incident - but her thinking "he told me what I wanted to hear" made me facepalm. No that is really not what she needs.
+ I love so much that Hye-sung's first reaction was to immediately cover for Soo-ha even though she did think he'd stolen the gun. Her going off on the cops for making her worry and asserting that Soo-ha wouldn't do anything like that was great. I also really loved that Soo-ha overheard all of it. Now he knows that he finally has someone who worries/cares about him, aww!
+ On the physicality front - Soo-ha grabs her forearms and refuses to let go [and she can't break his hold], Hye-sung jumps on his back to get her cell, Soo-ha climbs on top of her to get his grades report and she squishes his face between his hands.
On the cute side - him casually opening her water for her and her not even pausing in what she's saying, cute shopping together, him buying the recording teddy bear for her to tell her that she did a good job (aww!) and then them folding laundry together.
