+ Oh man, I felt so bad for Do-yeon this ep. She was pretty heart-breaking - her cuddled onto her mother's lap, her crying when she got the results, her tears at the jail, her attempts to keep it together during the trial. She actually made me cry when she broke down sobbing at the end and begged Hye-sung to save her father. I wanted so bad for Hye-sung to hug her.
+ I was shaking my head so much at Hye-sung and her attitude towards Do-yeon. This is a really big thing for her to try and digest and Hye-sung seemed surprisingly unsympathetic towards her considering her concern in the last episode. Yes, she hates Judge Seo but Do-yeon is his daughter so clearly she's going to see things differently!
I thought during the trial with all the looks Hye-sung was giving Do-yeon that she clearly saw how affected Do-yeon was, and Do-yeon hid it well but if you know everything that is going on it's easy to see how affected she is. But then when Soo-ha brings her up she calls Do-yeon 'a machine' which just... ??? Even when she finds Do-yeon sobbing in the bathroom she seems really surprised and confused. Hye-sung has always had a blind spot with regards to Do-yeon, and for understandable reasons, but this level of denial of what is right in front of her is ridiculous.
+ Hye-sung and Soo-ha's interplay over the visor was really cute.
+ Wait, I think I misunderstood in the last episode: I thought Judge Seo taking Do-yeon as his daughter was an enticement to go along with Young-ja's silence on his verdict being wrong but apparently it was an additional demand by Young Ja and not something he wanted? Huh. That doesn't really work for me as well.
+ Hye-sung's rivalry with Do-yeon's co-counsel amused me.
