The Blacklist 3x09 Thoughts

+ Aram was just breaking my heart. His breakdown as Liz was dying, NAVABI as the password, him desperately trying to revive Liz and then holding her and apologising and just ugh ARAM. ): Aram is the best and he deserves only the best. I mean he pulled a gun on the Director in the middle of the Post Office! He was so great this ep.
+ Such lovely Liz/Aram this ep. I love how much they care for each other. On top of all the Aram stuff there was also Liz talking Aram into putting down the gun (thus saving his life) and telling him that she didn't blame him. Then that wonderful moment with her thanking him and kissing his cheek as she was escorted out.
+ Ressler and Liz has a couple lovely little moments. I loved her telling him that 'whatever happens I don't blame you'. I loved him promising to keep her safe. He's still mad at her but he cares so much evenso. Then at the end with him telling her that he believes in her and her little smile. It was nice.
+ I love that Reven's 'Tommy Markin' did in fact pay off and she successfully unmasked her killer.
+ I feel like a part of Red that enjoys terrifying Aram so much that he can't help but do it even when he's trying to give Aram his deepest, sincerest gratitude. It kind of amuses me.
+ Liz is a 'foundational element' in Red's life. ♥ She "forms the brick and mortar" of who he is. I've left catching up on the series far too long so I'm spoiled for what happens later this season which makes the whole 'collapse into rubble when they're not there' a bit of painful foreshadowing.
+ "Did you even go to the academy?" - Tom. LOL. The cabin showdown was good.
+ Tom talking Ressler out of killing Solomon made no sense - he literally tells Ressler minutes before that "Principles are a bitch man. I avoid them at all costs." and he has already caused the death of an innocent man in his quest to save Liz - so why the hell would he let an active threat live? I didn't buy it for a second. Seriously, Tom Keen??? It would have made far more sense for Ressler to talk Tom out of killing Solomon using the whole idea of Tom wanting to be a better person for Liz.
