Fated to Love You Episode 1 Thoughts
Sep. 2nd, 2016 01:53 pmI’m not sold on it but I'll give it another episode.
+ My biggest issue is with Gun. He’s pretty ridiculous and kind of weird and it’s a bit much, especially the laugh. I’m hoping Jang Hyuk tones it down because right now I’m a bit meh on him. He is so dramatic that it veers between being embarrassing and amusing but leaning more towards the former. I did like how seriously he takes his job, and his pride in his business and the sincerity in his feelings for Se Ra so I guess we’ll see. His practice proposal was a really nice moment and I liked that Mi Young overheard it.
+ Mi Young is really lovely and sweet and I find her very likeable.
+ I really like the Mi Young /Ji Yeon friendship. Ji Yeon encouraging her friend to practice saying no at night was cute and I love how supportive she is of Mi Young.
+ Se Ra is actually kind of great? I loved both scenes with her. The plane scene was fun and I loved her smirk when the girl left. I thought she and Daniel had a good amount of chemistry and since they're clearly dramaland destined to be that's a good thing.
+ I really liked what we saw of Se Ra and Gun’s relationship too. He’s clearly got her on a pedestal that needs to be knocked down but she seems pretty sensible and they both clearly hold great affection for each other and are close.
