Killjoys 2x01 - 2x03 Thoughts

iaria2x01 'Dutch and the Real Girl'
I loved this episode.
+ Johnny and Dutch being amazing as always.
+ I loved Lucy telling Johnny that she liked Clara and asking if they could keep her and Johnny's "that's not how it works".
+ Clara is amazing. I hope she shows up again. Loved Alice. Clara/Johnny were actually wonderful and I could get behind them as a couple. Loved her fighting beside Dutch to escape. Loved the mutual love between her and Lucy. Loved all the stuff about choice with her.
+ Pree joining the crew, yay. I loved Pree and Johnny pretending to be a couple and Pree telling Johnny that he's going to divorce him and take all his imaginary money. I loved the whole criminal gambling den stopping when Johnny called Pree's mother a bitch.
+ Khlyen and all the little hints about him. I enjoy how unflappable he is. I loved Black Root guy's "It's an honour to meet you, sir" before they tased him. I'm assuming he's turned Fancy into a soldier loyal only to him?
+ I liked the Khlyen/D'Avin scenes even. I love that his plan was to send D'Avin back to play suped-up bodyguard and his "would you die for her". I love that D'Avin's response was 'for Dutch and Johnny'.
+ D'Avin happily humming while unconscious was amusing.
+ D'Avin was really lucky Fancy was a Level 6 considering he took a kill shot instead of simply wounding him.
2x02 'Wild, Wild Westerly'
It was okay.
+ Some moments I liked:
- Johnny all in love with the Wall. And then being all "the Wall is bad", lol.
- Pree was a Warlord!
- Dutch getting free from the restraints was awesome.
- Gared's no good, terrible day wherein he gets his ass kicked by Dutch, his leg broken by Pawter [after he threatens her] and then his hand stabbed by Pree [after he threatens him]. He doesn't seem to learn.
- It was great to see Pawter again.
- I'm sad Pree isn't permanently joining the crew.
2x03 'Shaft'
+ I loved that last scene and Dutch deciding to take back control.
+ I liked the reveal that Dutch and Alvis have a ongoing casual relationship and that moment between them at the end was great. I could get behind the show exploring that more. On the other hand, I did not like jealous D'Avin and I really want it to be the last of that.
+ What does it mean to get a warrant to salvage a Monk: Alvis: "We're very recyclable." LOL.
+ Pawter implanting her explosive tracker in Jelco's chest was brilliant. She was great the entire episode and I like how she dealt with Jelco and his smarminess.
+ Lucy being all jealous about Pawter amused me. Her sulky 'fine' after Johnny didn't want to listen about her fasinating soil results instead of talking to Pawter was great.
