+ I loved all the mom/Gun scenes. They are so lovely. I love how much she genuinely does love Gun and her telling him that she would take care of him no matter how bad he got was so sad.
+ It sure would have been nice if Gun had found that letter 3 years ago! I'm not entirely sure of the point of his digging up the box now when he's made up his mind to be with Mi Young and embrace happiness. But it was a nice momment, I liked the flashback to his last time with his father and I suppose Gun needed to lay his father's memory to rest. Also I did love the reveal that Gun's distinctive laugh was his father's, and that he borrowed it to deal with stressful situations.
Episode 20
This was a mostly silly wrap-up epilogue with a few really nice moments but perhaps not really necessary. Overall this was an enjoyable series.
+ My favourite part was actually Daniel/Se Ra. Their meeting on the steps was genuinely moving and lovely. I liked that after the confirmation of their relationship they took a month apart to deal with the truth. I loved their final scene and how very close they'd become. I liked them using their birth names with each other. I wish we'd gotten more of them.
+ Mi Young/Gun were sweet and charming. I loved their scenes in the car at the beginning. Super adorable. Gun's snail story to their twins was very cute. That said I do think that there was actually too much of them. That is we got a lot of long scenes of them reconfirming their love and devotion for each other which we already know and some of it could have been cut.
+ I loved Mi Young losing her temper at Tak and Yong and Gun having to hold her back. It really showed her character growth from the last time it happened and I'm glad she was allowed to be angry about it and show it this time.
+ Grandma Wang showing up at Yong's meeting with Ji Yeon and her father and calling Yong her grandson was a very nice little moment.
+ For all that Se Ra's mother has been pretty horrible the entire series her scene with Se Ra was actually really nice and I loved her telling Se Ra that regardless of her being adopted Se Ra was her daughter.
+ I would have been nice if at the end the rest of the extended family had shown up at the picnic.
+ Manager Tak and Lawyer Hong's dancing wrap up was super silly. The Dr. Octopus/mom hook-up was very random.
+ Tak and Yong drugging Mi Young and Gun again and under Grandma's orders at that was... really unnecessary.
