Supergirl 2x04 - 2x06 Thoughts

The Kara/Lena scene has me fully shipping them now. I loved Lena telling her assistant that Kara is always allowed in when possible and her immediate willingness to help Kara. I really loved the darker subtext of Lena stating that she knows Kara will be there if she needs her and Kara reaction. The scene really reminded me of early Clark/Lex in Smallville and I'm loving it. Can't wait to see where this goes.
2x05 'Crossfire'
+ I love Lena setting up the benefit as a trap to capture the thieves. I loved how it showed off Lena's intelligence but also that Luthor ruthlessness (setting a trap using a lot of innocent people in a way that could have gone wrong is a little iffy. Which is perfect for a Luthor.) That said I am a little disappointed that this was what Lena decided to call in Kara's favour for. I was hoping for something a little more... grey.
+ Lena/Kara continues to be excellent and I'm loving the Lena/Supergirl interactions too. Still very much feeling the super slashy Clex vibes. Lena went to CatCo just to invite Kara to her party!
+ The Kara/Alex scene was great. I loved Alex giving her advice on how to handle Mon-El using her own experience with Kara. I loved that Kara immediately knew that something was up with Alex because she was eating a donut. They are so lovely together.
+ I loved the reveal that our Cadmus big bad is Lex and Lena's mom! Great little twist.
+ I loved that final scene between Alex and Maggie. It was really well done.
+ I liked Winn's defence of sidekicks and the work they do. And that he got to save the day as a sidekick. It really does feel like he's found his place and that's made him more comfortable and confident in himself.
+ Kara mentoring Mon-El is cute and fun. I loved him thinking making out in random rooms/closets was fine because he saw it on a 'doctor show', lol.
+ I'm not feeling James's storyline this year. First he was sidelined and his relationship with Kara unceremoniously dumped which annoyed me. Now we have this vigilante/superhero turn which is... meh. I did like that we got more Kara/James.
2x06 'Changes'
+ Alex/Kara were so good. Their scenes were the best. Kara telling Alex she's not alone and apologising and comforting Alex at the end - all perfect. I love them.
+ I liked how the show is moving Alex/Maggie along. Maggie being so supportive is great but I also like that she turned Alex down at the end and the reason why.
+ Drunk Kara is adorable.
+ Why the hell would DEO let the scientist leave??? That was unbelievably dumb and made no sense and I'm annoyed with the writers for making J'onn and Alex randomly stupid to move the plot along. Also while global warming is a serious issue it's not something that will cause destrunction within the next couple days so it's not so urgent that he needs to be allowed out, wtf? Also Supergirl using plutonium to defeat him... uhuh, okay.
+ Still not feeling James's vigilante thing but Guardian was somewhat neat and James and Winn's glee was cute. The whole keeping the truth from Kara thing was annoying and dumb.
+ Now that Clark is in play in the universe all I could think after Kara was drained the second time was 'why isn't anyone calling Clark ):'
