iaria+ And here I was pleasantly surprised that there was no mean-girl secondary female lead to act as spoiler for the main couple. Oh well, should have known. As a way to add one Joong-won running away from his feelings for Gong-shil certainly makes sense. Of course that’s how he’d react! Denial, denial, denial. Poor Gong-shil. It must seem like the worst case of randomly hot and cold to her.
+ I loved all the very many instances of Joong-won caring for Gong-shil – him buying her the sun necklace as a talisman but being unable to give it to her; his fervent order to never drink after learning about the possibility that she could lose herself to a ghost; his discomfort at Kang Woo comparing his relationship with Gong-shil to hers with the pianist; his jealousy when she was comforting the pianist; him returning from the airport to save her; the fact that he choose to kiss her to kick the ghost out, him holding her and then the way he touched her until she woke.
+ I really loved that Joong-won refused the ghost’s offer to tell him what Gong-shil’s true feelings for him were.
+ I loved Secretary Kim’s continued efforts to push the two together and the fact that Joong-won actually called him out on it.
+ I liked the ghost and her (literal!) smack down of her husband.
