iariaGreat episode.
• Gong-shil/Joong-won delight me.
- "I'm giving you a flat out warning not to fall for me no matter how I try to seduce you." LOL. And then he tells her that 'he missed her the whole week, worried for her and checked his phone constantly' while holding her in his arms... I think this might be the most sadist thing any male drama lead has ever done, lol. I love it.
He tells her multiple times that he's trusting her now to keep the distance between them but at the end of the episode when he tells her that he trusts her to remain safe and she agrees he looks so unhappy (which his aunt points out).
- Loved them walking hand in hand talking about whether he desires her, heh.
- I loved Gong-shil's slow slide into glee and giddiness as she realised that by holding his hand all night she could literally do anything. It was a great moment.
• Secretary Kim is seriously the best. I adore him and all his shit-stirring trolling ways. Him narrating Gong-shil meeting Jae-seok and musing about what they're going to do next while Joong-won and Kang Woo glare daggers at him was hilarious.
• I love the strides Gong-shil has made in dealing with the ghosts. I love that right in the middle of their relationship discussion a ghost shows up and Gong-shil just casually shoos it off because she's having a serious conversation right now. I loved Joong-won's incredulous "You're having tea time with your ghost friends now?" (LOL) and her casual 'well yeah' reaction. I loved her second tea time with her consulting with various ghosts and calmly threatening to get Joong-won when one of them scared her.
• The ghost of the week was mostly a throw away plot but: "As for a funeral for this poor woman... her son will hold one for her." made me tear up.
• I really liked Joong-won addressing the chairman and the trash can ghost. The way he talked to them as people. This episode really showed how much he's accepted and become a part of Gong-shil's crazy world.
• "Tell President Joo I also have a telescope." - Jae-seok. LOLOL. I like Jae-seok, he's fun. I hope he shows up again.
• Ugh, Yi-ryung what are you doing? I'm annoyed with her but actually I get it too. Kang Woo has rejected her firmly and confessed his feelings for Gong-shil so to admit any romantic connection to him would be humiliating. She could have easily stated her reasons for being at Kingdom were entirely work related but spitefulness won out and by bringing Joong-won into she can strike out at her perceived romantic rival who also happens to be someone she's holding a grudge against from school. I get it. But it's so dumb! How can she think this will end well for her? She thinks Joong-won is in love with Gong-shil, so how does she image he's going to react? It's really impulsive and dumb.
