The Master's Sun Episode 12 & 13 Thoughts

Poor Gong-shil. But I don't believe for a second that Joong-won is dead. I mean that would be a very bold and unexpected twist but I don't see the show going there. At the worst he might be in a coma - perhaps much like Gong-shil was. Huh, that would be interesting if he came back able to see ghosts as well. Or to go a different angsty route - he wakes from surgery with amnesia and doesn't know who she is. I'd put my money on either of those happening.
I refuse to believe that Secretary Kim is somehow involved with the whole Hee-joo/kidnapping mystery. He wouldn't do that! I'm going to be so mad if he was.
I'm glad the whole Yi-ryung came to nothing. I think she was sincerely trying to protect Kang Woo but at the same time I don't think I was wrong that she chose to bring Joong-won specifically into the situation out of spitefulness. I was thinking about her role on the show and it's weird because she doesn't interact with Gong-shil (despite the whole little sun/big sun situation) or Joong-won very much. The majority of her scenes are about her and Kang Woo. I do find them cute and their back-and-forth dynamic is fun but I find it a little strange.

Heh, okay so coma and amnesia. I do really like the reason for it - he saw her which made him think he was dead and the removal of his memories was necessary to bring him back. It worked for me. I just wish that we'd had Gong-shil forced to go on an actual journey to bring him back (which is what I initial thought was going to happen.)
I love that Joong-won immediately reached out to steady Gong-shil at the restaurant and then he left his hands on her shoulders - two things he never would have done with an actual stranger at the start of the series.
I like all the little pieces that came together to lead Joong-won back to Gong-shil especially the little kids popping back up with their text-reading payment.
Whew, I'm so relieved that Secretary Kim's secret connection wasn't that bad. I wonder if he sought out Joong-won on purpose because of Hee-joo?
I really loved the last Joong-won/Secretary Kim scene. I love the fact that Joong-won pulled the same distance keeping tactic with Secretary Kim that he did with Gong-shiol (which also clearly failed). I loved Joong-won's open and clear affection for Secretary Kim with his "I always have a need for you by my side." (awwww!) and telling him that Joong-won won't allow Secretary Kim to abandon him and his genuineness in wishing him an enjoyable vacation. Is was a really nice scene.
The Yi-ryung/Kang Woo conversation on the roof amused me a lot especially the fact that what Kang Woo gets from it is that he needs to be more confident with Gong-shil, heh.
I love that Jae-seok sent Joong-won flowers, the fact that they actually went golfing at some point and Joong-won flabbergasted reaction (lol).
I loved the uncle's reaction when Hanna claimed the wolf/goat books as her own. I think she's made him suspicious.
So Hanna and Hee-joo were identical twins but after the kidnapping/accident Hanna got plastic surgery to change her face, right? Okay that makes sense now.
