The Master's Sun Episode 16 Thoughts

+ Most painful moment was definitely Joong-won stopping after breaking up with Gong-shil to muse on the painful realisation that even at the end Gong-shil still hadn't told him that she loved him, and then having to take a moment to cry a little. Poor Joong-won.
+ I actually 100% believed and liked the reason for why Gong-shil wanted to leave. Her wanting to discover the reason she could see ghosts, to get a handle on it (however that would turn out) and to begin to find herself and like herself again makes perfect sense. It's a good reason. Especially after what happened to Joong-won. I like that it was entirely about herself and for herself.
+ I liked Joong-won refused to accept Gong-shil's need to leave at first - his "are you crazy of course I'm not letting her go" to Secretary Kim made me lol - and that he needed time to understand just why it was so important for her before ultimately sending her away like she needed.
+ Joong-won/Secretary Kim make me so happy. Other than the main pair they're my favourite part of this series. Joong-won asking Secretary Kim to come back to work with him was great and I love how Secretary Kim was there for him even before officially being back. Secretary Kim lamenting Gong-shil getting Joong-won to open up when he failed even after 15 years amused me. And then the hug! The giant grins on both their faces! :D
Joong-won fretting over Secretary Kim getting a cold was the absolute best. Complete with opening the conversation with "have you been to the hospital", ordering him to take a couple days off, sending over a doctor, checking that he's eating and upon learning that he hasn't giving the best long-suffering expression as he tells him he'll send over his "favourite tuna porridge" before ending the call with him refusing to allow Secretary Kim ice cream. The best!
+ Aww Joong-won becoming friends with trash can ghost. I love that he visits him to be reassured about Gong-shil - and the ghost does so. Joong-won gently patting the bench in thanks was kind of adorable.
