4x12 'Hot Potato Soup'

+ It was great to see the Koenig's again and I really love LT. She's fabulous. I hope we see her again. Also great casting there.

+ Poor LMD!May. Mack and LMD!Radcliffe had an interesting discussion about souls that I hope doesn't get dropped. LMD!May may be a robot but she's not just a robot and I want that explored more. I hope we see her again.

+ I loved Sam fanboying Quake. It was a fun scene and him mentioning fanfiction, then backtracking and then bringing up his shipping of Quake/Black Widow amused me a lot.

+ I love that Coulson knew immediately that LMD!May was an imposter because May would never betray him.

+ The random SHIELD agent being all '??' about the Koenig's and the joke of them being LMDs only made me miss Trip. ): It should have been him being flipped by LT and him getting laughed at one final time before getting confirmation that they're not LMDs. Sigh.

4x13 'Boom'

+ There were a couple little things that really bugged me.

1) Fitz figuring out first that the pieces they found were from an Inhuman cocoon when Simmons is the one who a) is the biochem scientist of the two, and b) was the one who was doing the tests.

2) When Shockley picks himself up Mace runs and starts wrestling him towards the containment unit. He's struggling without his strength and Fitz runs to help him, together they're able to get him in. Meanwhile Simmons runs over to the computer and starts inputting the command to drop the containment unit. Through all of this Daisy... stands around? It made zero goddamn sense.

Why wouldn't she have been the one to run and help Mace with Shockley? Either before, with or after Fitz. Or instead. I mean she's only the trained field agent, the best ass kicker, and the Inhuman with the ability to blow him away but what could she do in that situation? Or if they absolutely had to have just the guys doing it for reasons (???) why have Jemma run over to do computer stuff (even basic) when Daisy is literally just standing there doing nothing. Ugh.

+ Mace's struggle to find his place and his eventual 'revelation' that he was the Blocker and once again falling back to using the serum didn't work for me. I mean perhaps this is just the path to him realising that he doesn't need the serum but if this is where it's going - meh. Especially since we've seen where his strengths lie - he's the peacemaker, the face of SHIELD, the one who deals with the politicians and media - these are all really important! His disgruntlement at losing his strength and him feeling like he wasn't contributing make sense but I'm really hoping this is leading to him realising that he can most contribute by doing what he already was doing. (Also it reminds me James storyline this season on Supergirl which also doesn't work for me, though more so there.)

+ I enjoyed Daisy vs Shockley.

+ I'm always happy to have Zach McGowen on my screen but so far Ivan 'the Superior' isn't that interesting as a character or an antagonist.

+ I'm a little annoyed that Senator Nadeer was killed so early and easily because it feels like she was a more interesting and dangerous antagonist who should have been around longer. That said I did enjoy the office scene and how it played out.

+ I liked Aida's reaction to Agnes and Radcliffe's relationship with her. That's interesting.

+ I really liked Coulson apology to Agnes and his little heartfelt speech about May.
