Lost Girl 1x03 Review

• Bo and Kenzi are really starting to gel. I like how happy they are around each other and how they work together. I love how Kenzi doesn’t back down from Bo. I love “You’re a freak and I dig that about you.”
• Kenzi’s reactions to being in the sorority amused me. I love her.
• Bo looked really good in her security uniform.
• I haven’t said anything before though I did notice it but Ksenia Solo’s eyes are so freaking light! I think they’re gorgeous and certainly very startling. They just really stuck out during her first scene at the sorority.
• I wonder if all fey can handle Bo’s power like Dyson can? I’m guessing not since she can apparently eat unlimitedly from him which I find interesting. Could she ever kill him that way? I also find interesting and like that their ‘species’ is something the Fae keep secret from other Fae.
• I was kind of hoping that Dyson wouldn’t be a werewolf. It’s just so cliché. Plus werewolves aren’t Fae (except I suppose in this reality they are). It would have been neater if he was some other sort of creature. I mean being a werewolf doesn’t really explain how she can feed so much from him. What about being a werewolf would do that? I guess I’d believe it more if he was some random other creature, even a made up one.
• Why didn’t Bo ask Dyson what he was thinking about Kappa house? They got distracted by Kayla but why wouldn’t she go back to it? I did like that while at first Bo seemed jealous about Kayla the show didn’t really go there... until the end when Bo caught Dyson making out with her. But even then her reaction was hurt but she wasn’t lashing out and certainly not at Kayla so that was good. Less good is Dyson using Kayla just to break it off with Bo which is really not fair to Kayla at all.
• I was surprised by the show not going the will-they/won’t-they route with Bo/Dyson in the last episode but it appears they’re kind of doing it after all – the whole contrived separation neither wants, though I admit it’s less contrived than it could be. Oh, well, looks like they’re going the UST route with them.
• I liked the opening scene with them and Kenzi’s right that it’s nice to see Bo happy. I can see why Bo found herself unexpectedly getting more involved with him then she would have ever planned – not waking up next to dead body and he’s been an ally (both trusted and liked) – but she can find others now who fit those same criteria.
• Two questions: How could Kenzi not know that Dyson slept over? How did Dyson keep his pants after changing into a wolf and then back to human? And if he can keep his pants why can’t he keep his shirt?
