• "You did this. You jinxed us. You literally willed this into existence." I loved Coulson/May, they were adorable together. I loved their banter. It was so much fun to see pre-Calvary May who was so light and open.
• Probably my favourite exchange:
"I’ll take Davis." - Simmons
"Concern only slightly lessened." - Fitz
"Thanks." - Davis.
LOL. But then! He made this remark after Jemma’s comment about them being in a Labyrinth: "Pray we don’t run into the goblin king." :-D New favourite red shirt. Don’t die Agent Davis!
• I loved that Jemma was the one who figured out that something was wrong and followed her gut instinct instead of just dismissing it.
• Aww, two androids in love. Is it weird that I hope the two LMDs of Coulson and May actually make it out of this alive? I know they won’t but I want them to.
• I was very impressed with Mace and how he handled himself during his kidnapping and torture.
• I don’t understand why Radcliffe would change out only four of them when he could have easily gotten literally all of them? That doesn’t make sense to me.
• I like Mack, he’s a good guy, but he’s also very xenophobic and it annoys me. It’s a very consistently written flaw, and I do think that flaws are important, and we’ve seen him overcome it with Daisy which is great... but still annoyed. I wanted to tell him ‘enough’ when he started in with Fitz.
• It still bothers me how Daisy’s origin as hacker girl Skye seems to have fallen so far to the wayside of her kickass agent and Inhuman qualities. Why wasn’t she helping Fitz track down the Framework? That seems to be something she’d be helpful with. Actually this leads me to another point that’s been bothering me – the lack of Daisy/Fitz or Daisy/Jemma or Daisy/Fitz/Jemma. This would have been the perfect episode for that. When Jemma was giving Fitz her little pep-talk speech I found myself thinking that I would have liked it more if it had been coming from Daisy instead.
