Healer Episode 2 Thoughts

iariaI liked the first episode but I really enjoyed the second. The central mystery and how all the characters fit together is intriguing and I really like all three of the leads.
+ I love Jung-hoo's competence. Sometimes it's a little too silly (hiding on top of the servers and no one noticed, really?) but mostly I just love it. The can kick to cause a diversion was probably my favourite thus far but it's all really fun to watch.
+ The expressions Jung-hoo keeps making over Young-shin - when she and her dad started dancing at the cafe, and on the bus when she put her hat on - amuse me a lot. I want to watch him continue to be complete confounded by her but also I can't wait to watch him fall in love.
+ I love Young-shin's relationship with her dad. It is super adorable. I loved him playing along with her 'dating' the cabbage head and then the morning dance to make her feel better. They have a really sweet relationship.
+ I also love the whole thing with her honorary criminal uncles who teach her essential skills like lock-picking and pick-pocketing and who adore her and look after her - it's delightful.
+ I loved the bathroom scene. Everything about it worked for me from Young-shin triumphantly confronting Jung-hoo and locking him in to him easily breaking out to her attempts to fight back and her well done terror contrasted by the honestly a little amusing use of nail clippers.
+ I loved Young-shin's worry for the other woman, the fact that the possibility of something being very wrong with her caused Young-shin to reluctantly go after her, and the way Young-shin opened up about her own pain to convince the woman not to jump. The whole scene was really well done and I enjoyed both Jung-hoo and Moon-ho's reactions to it. Also Young-shin taking the woman home with her was a lovely. The whole thing completely sold me on Young-shin as a character.
+ Min-ja is great. She's really fun and she works really well off Jung Hoo.
