Episode 8

+ Some really great Young-shin/Jung-hoo interactions. Him saving her and the kiss of course but I also liked his reactions to her confessing her humiliation and later her pain at being rejected. Also his reaction when he learned she was in danger. Basically I just really love watching him feel and deal with all these new emotions.

+ Ha! I love that Jong-soo spilled the spying beans pretty much immediately. Also him questioning Young-shin about herself and her expressions were great.

+ Still love Young-shin and her criminal uncles. I love how happy she was upon seeing them.

+ Regardless of any other betrayals or murders Moon-shik has been involved in finding and comforting Ji-an and then abandoning her is possibly the very worst.

Episode 9

+ Jung-hoo's delayed reaction to kissing Young-shin - heh.

+ Young-shin's first meeting with her father was so freaking cute and a little heart-breaking and completely lovely. He is the sweetest man and he was so wonderful with super traumatised little Ji-an. I loved the whole robot thing and him slowly winning over her trust. Also her late night return home and her dad's worried anger and her criminal 'uncle' helping her escape was great. I love them.

+ Jung-hoo smiling and even enjoying Young-shin's bad singing and then catching himself was adorable.

+ I do really appreciate Moon-shik in all his shades of grey. He seemed honestly horrified at Young-shin's attempted murder and his love for both his wife and brother are clear (and I love that him trying to minimize the threat Moon-ho presents.) But at the same time he had something to do with two of his friends deaths, Ji-an being abandoned, has lied to his wife for their entire marriage and is honestly not bothered by murdering random people at all. It's a really interesting contrast.

+ Moon-ho is like his brother a lot more than he would ever admit or probably care for. I absolutely understand his decision to bring the detective into things - he needs further protection for her after the attempt on her life and while he's thankful for the Healer's help in protecting Young-shin he also 100% doesn't trust him and believes that the Healer could still turn on them. That said turning the detective onto the Healer's trail is absolutely something his brother would do.

I also absolutely felt for him during his scene with Myung-hee. Again I think his actions are completely understandable. The last time he hinted around about Ji-an he set off one of Myung-hee's seizure which was horrifying for him. How can he take a risk with her health when things are so up in the air? But he's so tormented by it and Myung-hee continues to be her sweet and supportive self which undoubtedly only twists the knife more. Poor Moon-ho.

+ The make-over scene was a lot of fun. I loved Jung-hoo escape attempt and how uncomfortable he was by the whole process. They both looked great and I loved Young-shin's little attempt at a whistling and encouraging Bong-soo.

+ I wonder if this undercover situation is going to have Young-shin seeing Bong-soo in a new light and the actual love triangle of the show will be a Healer/Young-shin/Bong-soo one? I kind of love that idea. Young-shin calling Bong-soo was so great and I love watching Jung-hoo's reactions when she talks about her feelings to him.
