Healer Episode 14 Thoughts
May. 16th, 2017 11:27 pm+ The kiss was excellent! I love that Young-shin initiated it. The whole scene was great with Young-shin's refusal to leave (which must be a new feeling for him!) and her wearing him clothes, and omg, the way semi-conscious Jung-hoo nuzzled into her was my favourite part. Hopefully this means the end of trying to keep her away for her own safety.
+ Jung-hoo, Min-ja and Moon-ho's grief was all done really well. Jung-hoo's regret over letting his anger get the better of him and having not shared a meal with Young-jae was sad and relatable. I really liked Min-ja's quiet and still grief and her sharing a last drink with Young-jae. I liked Moon-ho promising to take care of the kids.
+ Jung-hoo attacking the doctor because they were in his way to Young-jae's body was not okay! I don't care how upset and grief stricken he was.
+ I love that Young-jae used the interrogation to record a last message for Jung-hoo.
+ I loved that Young-shin figured out how to get into Jung-hoo's little fortress by using her lock-picking skills once again.
+ The fact that Min-jae is Moon-ho's only friend is rather sad. I think he closed himself off after everything that happened that he never let anyone get close. The fact that he let her in as far as he did speaks to how much he does care for her. That said she was far nicer to him than he deserved after what he did and him coming to her to use as a sounding board/sympathetic ear was absolutely him using her and I kind of wanted her to tell him to fuck off. I did like her lying out how he always runs away rather than commit all to a fight which felt very true.
+ I am worried that Moon-ho's going to take Min-jae's words to heart and it's going to lead him to put his life on the line and possibly even his death.
