Wynonna Earp 2x09 - 2x11 Thoughts

iaria2x09 'Forever Mine Nevermind'
+ I loved Rosita. She was great the entire episode. I was surprised by how much I loved her short scene with Wynonna. They're actually have a great spark when Wynonna isn't being judgmental and jealous and I kind of ship them now. I loved her taking Waverly with her to the spa and their bonding was great. Judging by her reaction to the kiss I'm going to guess she's bi which is awesome.
+ Rosita being a Revenant is great in that hopefully this means this show will be exploring Wynonna forced to deal with a 'good' Revenant. Bad in that I really hope she doesn't die. I wonder if Rosita being a good person indicates that she hasn't spent a lot of time in hell?
+ I liked Wynonna and Doc's make-up scene and her promise that when they had a plan she would break the seal with him by her side.
+ I loved Wynonna still sparring even while pregnant and her being the one to train Waverly.
+ It would have been nice to see Waverly use some of that training she was doing at the beginning of the episode to save herself from Tucker instead of being saved.
+ WTF was Dolls thinking in going after the Widows with only Jeremy as back-up? That was so stupid of him.
+ Jeremy's crush on Dolls is still cute.
2x10 'I See a Darkness'
I loved that end.
+ Waverly's terror and grief when Gretta revealed her revenge was so well done. I love how much these two love each other.
+ If Waverly doesn't remember Wynonna how is that really a punishment? Yes, for a minute there it was anguishing for Waverly but without the knowledge of what she lost it's not that terrible for her.
+ Wow, Waverly really messed up. I understand why she panicked but her making an open ended deal with Getta was super dumb. She's the book smart one, the one who has spent her life researching the supernatural and her family's connection to it, so for her to make such a naive deal makes me want to head-desk. I was also super irritated that she didn't immediately tell everyone about Widow Beth's offer. There was no reason to keep that a secret. Oh, and that she pretty much immediately told Wynonna the truth about Rosita. Oh, Waverly.
+ I loved Waverly stepping in and saying no to Rosita being used as a guinea pig because that wasn't who they were. I loved Dolls volunteering. Jeremy being really unhappy about doing it and him not being willing to just brush it off with Wynonna was also great. But I also really liked the Wynonna/Rosita scene and how that played out. I loved Wynonna's line to Doc about how the Revenant's 'always do' feel pain and the subtext of that.
+ I loved Wynonna and Doc's little flirty moment outside the barn.
+ Everything with Nedley was excellent. I love so much that Wynonna trusted him with the ring and that he proved her right by not breaking under the Widow's torture. I loved Wynonna's "Give me my Nedley!" and her telling the Widow that "nobody tortures the sheriff but me". Also I loved him pretending to dislike Nicole's cat and then changing his tune when Waverly offers to take him instead.
+ I feel so bad for Wynonna. Waverly not trusting her/believing in her must be one of her greatest fears.
+ Waverly fighting the Widow to save Nicole was nice but where was that fighting skill with Tucker?
2x11 'Gone as a Girl Can Get'
Hmm. To be honest I was a little disappointed. There was a lot I enjoyed but on the whole it didn't feel like the writers used to concept to it's fullest potential.
+ My favourite part was Doc/Dolls. They were pretty amazing and I loved everything about them. Their showdown and Doc running to Dolls side when his shot looked like it did more damage than he was expecting. He called Dolls "partner" and promised to make it right! And then after Dolls fatally shoots him we get: "I do hate when we argue." ♥ Love that so much. Dolls death was also great with his last words "I think he was my friend. Wynonna." They just made me so happy.
+ Nicole's crush on Waverly and her standing lunch delivery was sweet. Her being all protective of her pickles was amusing. I also loved that little moment of her remembering Nedley.
+ Jeremy and Doc's scenes were good and I loved Jeremy trying to ask Doc out, heh.
+ Wow, Bobo is... pretty crazy right now. Is this always how it is fresh out of hell or was this last time too much for him?
