Killjoys 3x07 & 3x08 Thoughts

+ The truth about Dutch's origins I never would have guessed but I love it. Very scifi, very cool. The fact that Aneela can create new sapient beings from her memories is such a neat twist. I did find it interesting that Dutch came out of the green with no memories - not just of being child Aneela but also of basic things like what a moon is. Considering the green is memory that's interesting. I wonder if that was on purpose or if in the future she could create someone else with memories, like say Khlyen?
+ Khlyen leaving Aneela alone in a cube prism for who knows how long was just cruel. I believe that he was trying to protect her but he really screwed that up. I loved that sequence where Aneela created Dutch.
+ I wonder when Aneela began to hate Dutch? She seemed so loving towards her in the beginning. Was it because Khlyen loved Dutch? I do now wonder if there could be some way for them to reach a peace with each other instead of the inevitable fight to the death? ... oh, wait, duh. Khlyen took her memories of creating Dutch so all she knows is that Dutch had her face and her father's love/protection so no wonder she wants her dead. I wonder how giving her back those memories would change things?
+ Turin turning on Fancy and the Cleansed was... weird. I mean the last episode ended with Turin essentially telling Fancy that he'd been wrong to distrust him so I don't understand why he's suddenly gone in the opposite direction to fully distrusting all of them nor taking the actions he did this ep. It felt pretty out of character.
+ I really liked Zeph going along with Dutch but leaving the backdoor loophole in case something went wrong. She's learned well from Johnny's lessons.
3x08 'Heist, Heist, Baby'
+ "You’re my left Johnny. Closest to my heart." - Dutch. ♥ Awww! I love them so much.
+ Aneela/Delle Seyah were delightful. I loved everything about their scenes. Loved Delle Seyah saving Aneela. Loved their conversation afterwards - with Aneela soothingly offering to take Delle Seyah to torture Gander and Delle Seyah's response "Like a lot of torture. ... And ice cream." - which was so much fun. Loved them holding hands as the free Hullen were converted into slave Hullen. Their heart-to-heart was great. I didn't expect their relationship to go in this direction with there being genuine love and respect between them but I love it so much. I'm hoping so much that they survive the season. I want them to keep kicking ass together.
+ I like Brynn and I'm glad she survived but I'm not sure what role she's playing here. It feels like there's something more at play here than siding with Aneela because she's more afraid of her but I'm not sure what. Working for the Lady as an undercover operative?
+ I love that Dutch and Johnny both tried seduction to get to the driver.
+ There was so much innuendo and mentions of sex this episode. That was fun. My favourite was:
"You need a giant vibrator." - D'Avin
"For science. ... And a little pleasure. But science first!" - Johnny.
Heeeee.
+ I didn't make the connection of Dutch being created from memory by Aneela to Aneela being Dutch's Source but duh. That makes sense. At the same time I do wonder if both of them were jumping to conclusions. Dutch isn't Hullen, doesn't have green blood nor a mental connection to Aneela, so does it have to mean her death?
+ I loved Zeph's "it's not alright" reaction.
+ I doubt that in the end D'Avin would be able to go through with sacrificing Dutch but if he did it would permanently fracture his relationship with Johnny. Johnny would never be able to completely forgive him for it, nor do I think he would forgive himself.
+ I was happy to see Pree even if only for a short while. Loved his little exchange with Dutch.
