Killjoys 3x10 Thoughts

I loved it! I am so sooooo happy with how this episode ended. Everything about it was excellent. I'm really glad this show was renewed for a final two seasons.
+ I loved the Aneela/Dutch face off and how it played out. I loved them going into the green together to team-up against the Lady. I am so excited for them and their father working together.
+ I thought giving Aneela back her memories might change her perception and that's exactly what happened. It makes sense - of course Aneela would only hate/be jealous of Dutch if she didn't know who she was or where she came from. Khlyen had the best of intentions but he seriously messed up his daughters with his choice to remove those memories (but also maybe he did save them from the Lady until such a time that they were ready to face her.) I thought that some of Dutch's anger towards Aneela was misplaced from Khlyen and I hope they deal with that next season.
+ Khlyen! Yay! I am so happy to have him back even if it's only in the green. Though there is certainly the possibility open that Aneela could bring him back I doubt it will actually happen. Regardless of how it plays out I'm just so glad he's back. I'm also happy for both Dutch and Aneela that he's around for them and they will have a chance to work through their issues with him and his choices.
+ I really love that the dreadnaught that Khlyen seemingly made to kill Aneela was actually two knives that he made for his daughters to use to kill the Lady together.
+ Alvis's murder has thus far been sort of pointless? It's not as if Dutch needed more motivation to go after Aneela and in the end his death really doesn't make any impact on their interactions. What it ends up feeling like is the show giving Dutch a parallel to Johnny. Delle killed Pawter, Aneela killed Alvis, the two of them are Johnny/Dutch's enemies but also now their allies and even family. I'm not sure where I'm going with this but it just stuck out that the two of them are in similar places. I wonder if this is to make it easier for Aneela/Delle to eventually be forgiven? Like, they regret, and if one is forgiven the other will be as well? idk.
+ Delle Seyah, D'Avin and Johnny are a delightful trio and I am so excited about them trapped together next season (I'm sure it won't last that long) and working together as a team to save the women they love. Yesss. I loved Delle taking both the Jacobis's hands as Lucy shot them loose. I liked that little moment where D'Avin reached out to steady Delle. I loved D'Avin poking at Delle about the baby and all his questions and her being so annoyed and then her starting to engage with him as the camera pulls back. Poor Johnny. The five of them now being tied together as a dysfunctional family delights me a lot and I want it.
+ I do think that while Johnny won't ever forget what Delle Seyah did, and might honestly not truly forgive her for Pawter, he will move on. Or maybe that's just what I want. It'd be an interesting twist if they actually ended up liking each other.
+ I love Aneela/Delle Seyah so much. I was really afraid that one or both would be killed off and I'm so delighted with how things played out instead. I love their meet up on the RAC ship and the Be careful/Be brutal exchange and kiss. I love that Delle Seyah is Aneela's equal and is trusted by her to run their war against the Quad. I love that for Delle Seyah Aneela's safety is the most important thing and she chooses her over power/winning. This episode laid down enough groundwork that I can absolutely believe now that they might get a happy ending together, fingers crossed.
+ Aww to D'Avin reassuring Dutch by showing her that Johnny would be taken care of if anything happened to her. And getting Johnny robot goats and a plot of land to play ranger on. He knows his people.
+ I love that Johnny knew that Aneela wasn't Dutch because of course he would.
+ "Girl likes her gossip." - Johnny. Ha! I love that Lucy gossips with Johnny about everything that happens within her. We need to see that some episode.
+ Johnny/D'Avin were great this ep. I loved every interaction they had with the best being their exchange over Dutch which made me lol so much:
"So what are your intentions?" - Johnny
"I intend not to die today. I intend to save her beautiful, stubborn ass. And if you keep being weird about this I intend to poke you in the lunghole." - D'Avin.
+ The Dutch/Delle Seyah reunion was great. I love that it was all Delle's plan because she knows Dutch that well. I hope next season can revert them back to a more flirty frenemies relationship with I suppose less flirting.
+ "You're a really good person." - Zeph. Aww. That was a sweet moment. I too think Dutch doesn't hear that enough.
+ "Jaqobis sandwich. For luck." Aww. I loved that whole sequence with Zeph trying out "I love you" to stop Johnny, immediately backtracking and then getting pulled between the brothers in a goodbye hug. It was adorable and I loved it.
+ Pree/Gander and their continuing background love story is surprisingly sweet and engaging. I love that whole conversation about Gander having never been anywhere and marrying up.
+ Geez Turin you sure you don't want to add anything else to Fancy's To Do List like bring everlasting peace to the Quad or cure all diseases? Him basically dumping everything on Fancy made me shake my head.
+ Apparently Fancy goes well with everything because I really enjoyed him with Turin, particularly this exchange:
"Just let me have my goddamn hero moment will you, you piece of shit!" - Turin
"Okay. You probably don't have very many years left anyway." - Fancy.
Heeeeeee. Fancy is the best and I am so glad he survived. Since D'Avin's busy I suppose Turin is proving to be an acceptable substitute for him to work off.
+ Shouldn't they have had serious protection in place to protect the sonic weapon? Of course the Hullen would target it! But better to lose people protecting it while it's up then losing far more while it's down. Bad planning!
