Overall, I think I enjoyed it even more this time. Love Rey, Finn, Kylo and BB8. Poe made more of an impression this time and Hux continued to make no real impression. Enjoyed Han, Chewie and Leia a lot. Can't wait for the next one - less than 24 hours!

I loved all the character introductions. Poe's "who speaks first" sassiness stuck out a lot more this time. Finn's "stay calm" to himself made me go awwww. Rey's everything - ♥ Her innate kindness and decency was so well portrayed. The loneliness of existance. I love her.

Kylo Ren immediately knowing that it was Finn, not just that it was the Stormtrooper from the village, but down to knowing his number was interesting. How did he know that unless he talked to Phasma about it? It made me think of that cracky fic where Kylo thinks a terrified and confused Finn is his best friend and that delights me.

I caught this time that various people in the first order [Finn, Hux] call Kylo Ren "Ren".

Finn's innate decency - when he sees Rey getting attacked he immediately runs over to help her. Aw. Also his awkwardness and inability to lie convincingly is adorable.

Kylo turning his anger onto the consuls instead of killing Mitaka sticks out as the first hint that Kylo really is trying to be evil more than actually being evil.

Kylo's reaction to hearing about the girl on Jaku was just so immediately extreme.

The BB8/Finn/Rey scene when she's fixing the ship was hilariously adorable and I love all three of them.

Chewbacca's shrug when Finn asks if it was Han the war hero - lol. Actually while Chewbacca was mainly in the background he made a really fun peanut gallery.

"You looked at me like no one ever had" - all I could think was of that post that took that line and compared it to Rey chasing him and him running in terror - and started laughing. Totally ruined the moment but I think it's never not going to be hilarious now.

Finn not caring or being at all torn about killing other Stormtroopers still doesn't work for me. It feels like a lack of emotional realism that could have worked really well in adding depth to his character.

Kylo's stalking of Rey through the forest and then kidnapping of her remains hot. That shot of him rendering her unconscious and then catching her - unf.

For all that Kylo has serious control issues he's very good at holding things still with the Force for long periods of time which you'd think would take a lot of control.

This time that shot of Han watching Kylo carrying Rey away hit me a lot harder. I'm guessing this is the first time he'd seen his son in years, perhaps since his turn to the dark. I never really noticed before but I love that shot.

"You think I want to forget him? I want to get him back." God, I have so many wants for the next movie for them. I'm so afraid that they were waiting for the next movie and there will be no satisfying conclusion for Leia and her relationships with Kylo and Luke.

I love how this time it's Leia who believes unwaveringly that there is still light in the Sith. This is even after the First Order destroys five planets. I think a lot of anti's are going to be unhappy :)

I loved Kylo taking his mask off for Rey.

Love, love, love Rey holding her own against Kylo and then invading his mind to uncover one of his darkest fears. She is his equal from the very beginning and it makes me so happy. The way fandom keeps making her into a damsel-in-distress, someone helpless and weak, annoys me so goddamn much. She can take care of herself, dammit! She rescued herself!

I can kind of see where the Mary Sue cries are coming from but I don't buy it at all. They gave her the backstory to make her skills believable [fighting, flying, language] and she's a natural super-powerful force user just like the previous jedi protagonists [luke, anakin].

I like that there are female Stormtroopers. Didn't notice that the first time.

Captain Phasma gave in to Finn's threats way too easily and I don't find it believable at all. She should have found some way to trap them or something. Also her general scariness and competence took a real big hit.

The expression on Han's face when he watches Kylo walking away... :( That whole confrontation between them worked so well for me. Painful. The way Han reaches up and cups Ben's face before he dies... D:

I loved Leia sensing Han's death.

The fanon that Chewie purposefully shot to wound Kylo but not kill, even in his rage and grief, because he also helped raise Ben and loved him too, is one I'm 100% behind.

Kylo's screamed "traitor" and the fact that he stopped his approach instead of continuing and killing Finn while his back was turned was interesting.

Rey getting Anakin's lightsaber is still an awesome moment. I love the lightsaber battle between them. I like how she spends most of the start of the fight running away from him and then kicks his ass once she finds inner control/peace. I'm very interested to see how their next fight plays out especially since he won't be injured this time.

I'm choosing to believe that it was the Force itself that split the planet between Kylo and Rey because otherwise that is way too convenient.

Leia and Chewie walking past each other as Leia and Rey stare at each other in shared grief over Han remains the most infuriating moment of the movie.
