The Blacklist 5x13 Thoughts

+ Man, apparently there will never be a man in Liz's life who doesn't lie to her. Dom is as good as Red at eliding the truth. I am both confused and curious though that upon being confronted by his grand-daughter he didn't just tell her the bloody truth. Why continue Red's enforced charade? He took up Dembe's usual refrain of "tell her the truth" but why not tell her what he knows himself?
+ So Dom's line re: Katarina and what really happened to her and 'someone' who will do anything to keep that secret, he was totally talking about Red, yes? Could that really be Katarina in the suitcase? ... no, I don't buy that. I don't think Red does know if Katarina is alive. This does make me think the big season finale reveal is going to be Katarina showing up. Also if Dom is talking about Red why is he willing to let Red keep information about his daughter from him? The Dom/Red relationship confuses me.
+ I didn't guess that Oleander would be Dom but I like it. I love that Liz really is part of a legacy spy family.
+ Red + dog = adorableness!
+ Red after shooting Anthony: "Oh, shoot", LOL. But he did seem honestly worried for Anthony and gave him the cosmetic surgery with it so there is that.
+ Super cute little moment at the Post Office after Aram was all amazing with a proud smile from Samar and Ressler's teasing "Aw, I know. Isn't he adorable?"
+ Liz really is taking Red's involvement in the circumstances leading to Tom's murder surprisingly well. She was angry last episode but in a very controlled way. She and Red barely interact in this one but I didn't see any repressed anger in their scene.
+ Harold may be taking his favouritism towards Liz a little too far. I'd have expected even a little "I'm not going to let you kill the ones responsible" warning before reinstating her.
