Grey's Anatomy 14x22 'Fight for Your Mind'
I loved this exchange so much:
"Any minute now she’s going to realise that I’m the love of her life."
"Meredith Grey is straight."
"Ever heard her talk about Cristina Yang?"
Ha. I feel like they've been mentioning Cristina a lot more this season and it makes me happy. I love that Meredith talks about Cristina, and that how much Cristina means to her shines through. Also Helm's crush on Meredith amuses me.
Supergirl 3x17 'Trinity'
+ Winn making a battle suit for Alex and her reaction was great.
+ Julia really should have survived. I mean when Winn is all 'this is a win' all I could think about was how determined Kara was to save them and how she failed. It bothered me that everyone, particularly Alex and Kara, were so blase about the death of Julia. Kara tells Lena they 'saved her' but they didn't. Regardless of whether she died herself or not, she still died.
+ I loved that Julia overcame Purity and saved everyone by turning against the others.
+ I loved Lena bringing up Supergirl keeping her real identity secret during their confrontation and I really liked how unapologetic Lena was over the Sam situation.
+ I'm glad that James didn't go in the vault and that he was completely honest with Lena about everything but when he also confessed that Supergirl sent him there I winced so hard. I am not looking forward to that fallout even though I do think Kara was more in the wrong here.
Lucifer 3x23 'Quintessential Deckerstar'
+ I love that Pierce threatening Linda's life was enough to cause Maze to immediately back off. Even with Amenadiel she went along with the plan till the last second. I continue to love how much this whole storyline has emphasised how much Linda means to Maze.
+ I'm genuinely sad about Charlotte. She was a great addition this season and I really enjoyed her relationships with everyone else. They did a really great job of making her matter to all the characters and making those relationships matter to me. Her and Dan honestly seemed really great together, her friendship with Ella was lovely and her growing friendship with Amenadiel in these last few episodes, culminating in her giving her life to save his, was so well done. Charlotte confronting her hell loop in real life, defeating it and then going to heaven did a lot to make her death more palatable but still :(
+ Amenadiel flying Charlotte into the sky was a beautiful moment and then the reveal of her body still lying there and that he had been flying her soul to heaven... there may have been tears.
+ I loved Chloe realising, and finally voicing, that Lucifer is what she wants and that her recent actions with Pierce were actually about Lucifer. I loved the kiss. Now we just need her to finally realise the truth about him.
+ I'm going to have to call it - this whole Pierce subplot has been an overall failure for me. I like the actor, there were a couple episodes where I was loving Lucifer/Pierce but a lot of how Chloe/Pierce played out didn't work and felt unsupported, and he never really meshed in the cast. I don't understand his motivation in wanting to be immortal again. Why does Chloe rejecting him for Lucifer get rid of his death wish? It doesn't make sense. It would be far more believable if he still wanted to die and used the opportunity to frame Lucifer.
