5x19 'Option 2'

+ "Oh, and due to a technical malfunction the lighthouse thinks that we’re under nuclear attack so we may be trapped inside for fifteen years. Ish. I’m sure there’s a way around that. " - Coulson. LOL.

+ Yo-Yo’s shirt seemed a little on point. Grey at top, black on the bottom, with white bands stripped throughout.

+ I really liked that short scene of May sympathising with Yo-Yo.

+ Sometimes it would be nice if the random SHIELD agents weren’t just canon fodder. As soon as Fitz and the random agent were being stalked you knew exactly what would happen and for whatever reason it super annoyed me this time. Also was (new) Agent Kim killed in the control room fight? I thought he was there but then he disappeared.

+ I did love the little moments we got with Davis. Him explaining things to Kim, Piper marvelling at how he survived (and his wryness at knowing the main characters don't really care).

+ I find Fitz’s never ending grumpiness about Deke so amusing. That said I'm also starting to feel bad for Deke.

5x20 'The One Who Will Save Us All'

+ I feel like I should have seen this coming. At the very least Talbot's facial hair is very mirror!verse villain. I've found him really sympathetic and likeable (well, amusing) these last few episodes but despite that his turn to villain was really well done and made complete sense. Graviton is genuinely unsettling and his combination of power plus mental instability makes him a worrying threat. I feel bad for Talbot but this was a really interesting turn for the show to make.

+ It was interesting that Fitz tried twice to reach out to Deke in a positive way (high five, "you have family here") only to be rebuffed both times.

+ Still really not feeling Deke/Daisy. I wish the show would drop it. The lemon thing was funny though.

+ I was expecting a more angry vengeance driven Hale but I liked her going introspective and regretful instead and in the end trying to help save the world.

+ The return of judgmental Mack, sigh. I mean he's not entirely wrong and SHIELD should hold themselves to higher standards but at the same time it's not like he himself hasn't killed many people. His weapon of choice is a shotgun axe! He wasn't even there so why is he automatically taking Daisy's opinion over Yo-Yo's? He's being so black and white about the situation that the ways he's right end up being overshadowed by his sanctimoniousness and hypocrisy.

+ I was on Yo-Yo's side during the fight considering Daisy started it. I mean what the hell, Daisy? I get that Daisy is still feeling betrayed by Fitz and takes Yo-Yo helping him a sign of betrayal from her too. I get that she was overly empathising with Ruby and her situation. I get that she made a promise and genuinely thought she could get to Ruby. I get that Yo-Yo confronted her very aggressively, accused her of abandoning them (a likely sore spot) and took the bag from her. I understand why she angry and lashing out. Especially since she is also trying so hard to save Coulson. But I still think she was out of line, she needs to get a grip on her anger and also maybe be a little more understanding towards Yo-Yo.
