"This is my home. With you. On this couch." ♥ Kara/Alex are the heart of the show for me. This was a lovely, much needed scene.
I'm glad Mon-El left. I actually do like him okay and Mon-El/Kara can be cute but I wasn't a fan of how much focus he kept getting and as a whole their relationship didn't work for me. When Mon-El and Imra broke up I figured it meant he was sticking around and was a little surprised by just how much I did not want that. This season felt like it was Kara slowly getting over Mon-El so I was happy with the direction it ended up going. Their goodbye was nice and more importantly it truly felt like Kara is over Mon-El. She will always love him but I don't think she's in love with him anymore. At least not as much as he still loves her.
I'm sad to see Winn go. I really like him and the humour and lightness he brings to the show. But if he had to leave this was an excellent way to do it.
Reign's death and Kara's solution didn't really work for me. She looks horrified at the bodies and takes from what happened that she shouldn't have killed Reign... and so she goes back and lets Sam kill Reign? Reign died either way. Her solution was still to kill Reign! She could have also just as easily used her super speed to move everyone out of the way of the laser beams.
I'm confused about why when Kara time travelled into the past she found herself mentally back in her previous body instead of physically travelling back. That didn't make much sense to me.
So is the Kara at the end a duplicate (perhaps evil) created by the stone or was it the 'future' Kara who travelled back (with amnesia)? Either way I'm interested.
I am genuinely surprised that Sam survived the season. I really thought she was going to die and Alex would adopt Ruby.
It was nice to get a mention of Clark finally.
