Killjoys 4x02 Thoughts

iaria4x02 'Johnny Dangerously'
Really enjoyed it.
+ "Holidays are going to suck now." The Johnny/Delle Seyah/D'Avin trio was as fun as I was expecting. The short flashback to their time trapped in the elevator was a delight and all their interactions during the episode were great.
+ "Oh gods, we are a family." Hee! YES, please! I loved Delle Seyah's description of their various relationships and her slow realisation that they are in fact a family. I really hope this season explores this a lot more.
+ "If I have to separate you two again I will turn this hike around." - D'avin. LOL.
+ D'Avin and Delle Seyah's super awkward goodbye was so great. I love that they couldn't even look at each other and could barely get the words out and did an weird little hand-shake, and yet it somehow felt genuine. Somewhere during their time trapped together actual caring happened. Or at least for Delle Seyah - "But they're not so bad for humans." More, more! I want them to grow on each other like not particularly liked fungus.
+ Delle Seyah was amazing as always. I particularly loved her kicking ass at the beginning.
+ Hullen!Johnny is an asshole but also really fun. I love how unpredictable he is and how much he's enjoying himself. That scene of him taking out everyone with guns was super hot. I also love the fact that he figured out the truth.
+ "Johnny is a hug wrapped in a puppy." - D'Avin. Awww. Also: truth.
+ I loved Johnny hallucinating Dutch and the fact that he accepted the green so that he could survive to save her.
+ I can't believe they went there by bringing up how D'Avin 'cured' Sabine by fucking her. It wasn't even a one off joke! Johnny was all flirty and his "are we finally going to do this" was... a gift to Johnny/D'Avin shippers with the implication in that 'finally' being that there had been an incesty tension between them before this. And then D'Avin's response - "I would wreck you"!! Okay then.
+ "Their girlfriend"... okay, fine show. I've never actually considered the possibility of D'Avin/Dutch/Johnny but between this and that Johnny/D'Avin moment this episode is suddenly making me want it.
+ I love that Lucy tagged the elevator. Her love for Johnny makes me happy.
+ Zeph was great. I loved her telling off Turin and her uber competence.
+ I like Fairuza thus far.
+ Needs more Fancy.
