Killjoys 4x03 & 4x04 Thoughts

iaria4x03 'Bro-D Trip
+ I love Delle Seyah. Everything with her this episode was excellent. I love: that she saved herself with no outside help, that she managed to turn the situation around via her intelligence, that she actually did seem to care a little about Bea's fate (their final moment was cute), and that she got revenge on Clay while doing it.
She had a bunch of great lines. My favourites were:
"Head down isn't really my thing. It messes with the crown." ♥
"A hint of murder is what you want in a bodyguard."
"The world is full of lesser men with greedy fingers, Bea. Let me teach you how to break them."
+ I really enjoyed Turin's exasperation with Pree, Pip and Zeph as he made the former two Killjoys. He was so pained at having to do it! It was great.
4x04 'What to Expect When You're Expecting... an Alien Parasite'
+ I'm really happy for the return of normal Johnny and Johnny/Dutch. I loved evil Hullen!Johnny's description of Dutch as "you beautiful damn face".
+ "That's like a hug in our family by now." - Dutch. Awww! And then at the end with Pree's "When you choose your family, you choose your fight." declaration.
+ I liked the couple moments that showed Dutch's love for Khlyen - the Lady pointing out that "this one seems special to you" and the memory of grief that Dutch sees is Khlyen's death. I just wish we'd get some more Dutch/Khlyen scenes and scenes of Khlyen where he's actually Khlyen. Where the heck is he anyway?
+ I liked Delle Seyah grabbing D'Avin's hand when they realised they couldn't get the baby out and him holding it back. I like the respect that D'Avin shows her - both in stopping the transfusion because she couldn't consent and in the general way he tries to be supportive and help her.
+ I liked Dutch holding Delle Seyah's hand when they do the procedure.
+ That moment of love when Delle Seyah held her daughter for the first time was great. Except now I'm worried that it, and Delle Seyah being human again, are going to lead to her sacrificing herself and I really don't want that.
+ Dutch slapping D'Avin was completely out of line.
+ I really appreciated Pree slapping down Delle Seyah and the mention of Pawter. The way he called her "one of my dearest friends", was sad. I'm glad they're not trying to brush it under the rug.
