I really enjoyed this.
+ Dutch falling back onto her own training as she trained Jaq took a really unexpectedly dark turn and yet it made so much sense, was devastating but worked so well.
+ "It doesn't even have any apostrophes." LOL. There was some awkwardness at the beginning and a little over-protectiveness but D'Avin was an amazing dad. I loved him with Jaq and how supportive and considerate he was with him.
+ I can't really blame D'Avin for taking Jaq and running. Much. Dutch was so obviously in the wrong. But at the same time running instead of talking to her more, and especially before he talked to Johnny, wasn't the right move either. Like, dude, call a team meeting!
+ Dutch being affected by what happens to Aneela is really interesting. Now is it because Aneela is in the Green right now or is it because Aneela is Dutch's source?
+ "Look, he's my memory nephew-brother-son." I feel dumb but it didn't actually occur to me until Dutch told Jaq that 'your other mother made you' that Jaq is related to Dutch too. I lean more towards him being her brother since Aneela made her too but nephew would also work. (Not so much son.)
+ I was really annoyed that Delle Seyah left but the implication that she has some scheme/plan made it better. Can't wait to see what she's up to.
+ Delle Seyah's goodbye with Jaq was a delight. Her hesitant touch to his shoulder, "Physical contact is for the poor" (LOL!) and yet she clearly loves him so much and simply has no idea how to show it. I want more.
+ I like Jaq.
+ "Because you had a kickass teacher and you're a Jacobis. And Jacobis men never let me down." - Dutch. ♥
+ This was the most that I've liked Zeph/Pip. Pip took having a spider in his head a lot better than I would have!
+ I feel like the assassin wasn't working for the Lady and instead this is all one big misunderstanding.
