There were a bunch of little things that bugged me.
+ Andi making the choice to wait for the engineers made no sense for her character – she’s the one who always chooses the big risk to save people – unless it was meant to be her over-course correcting due to what happened in the last episode, which would make sense, except the show doesn’t seem to be going there? Or at least not explicitly yet so it ended up feeling like a contrived OOC decision to leave it open for Maya to make her move.
+ Maya still being angry at Andi makes sense but I found her reaction to Andi coming to her at the end a bit off-putting. I wanted to tell her to grow up. The passive-aggressiveness was annoying.
+ Then there’s Victoria and her accusing Travis of quitting when he told Warren to leave him. This isn’t actually out of character; consider her reaction to Warren and her accusations of him abandoning Travis and her anger over it – but it does make me wonder if she’s cut out to be a firefighter. In that situation Warren and Travis were doing their goddamn job – saving civilians. Neither made the wrong choice, imo, even if it was the hard one.

+ I liked Travis refusing to apologise to Victoria and him telling her that he was doing his job.
+ Victoria thinking of breaking through the wall was good but her and Dean refusing to take their masks back was dumb. The homeless teenager was absolutely right that it made more sense for them to have the oxygen so they could save everyone. I feel like this is probably a rule in the firefighter’s handbook. They got lucky to be rescued when they did.
+ I absolutely understand why Maya is feeling so upset and sensitive and I do feel for her but she is being ridiculous to Andi. In their last scene Andi was being really supportive and not in a condescending way. I suppose Maya, being sensitive about her failure, took it that way. I think it's clear though that Maya has some serious underlying issues with Andi that are starting to come out in a really negative passive-aggressive ways, which Andi in turn is ignoring and letting slide. This is obviously going to blow up but I wish that they'd just talk about it.
+ Zoe, the homeless teenager, was really great. I totally get why Andi 'recruited' her. Also she had amazing hair. I hope we do see her again.
