• I have been for the most part been enjoying amnesia!Eric. He's rather adorable and sweet and fun. But Eric and Sookie finally hooking up didn't really work for me and I think it's largely because of that. He's just not Eric. Mostly at the moment I'm really interested in seeing where things go when Eric gets his memory back.
• Bill’s expression when dealing with amnesia Eric made me laugh. He is just so thrown by him and the more Eric talked the more he felt like an ass and it amused me. I’m all for more amnesia!Eric/Bill interactions.
• “There’s no way that I’m going to let you go through that alone.” - Jessica I loved the Jessica/Jason scenes. They were the best part of the episode. I think they're adorable and I just really enjoy watching them together.
• I really liked Jessica's reason for why she's happy she was turned.
• The fact that Jessica can now sense Jason’s emotions could prove to be important. I doubt his problems with Hotshot are over and it's Jason so he's in trouble a lot. Having a vampire in his corner, who always knows where he is and when he's in trouble, could be very useful. Plus I'd think it'd be very comforting for him to have that.
• “And I’ll be here to help you any way I can. Other than shooting you in the head.” – Sookie Heh. Jason/Sookie were enjoyable. They bring good things out in each other. I was very happy that as soon as Sookie realised that he was serious she immediately started to try and comfort him.
• I liked that when Sookie started to go after Jason, she stopped and thought about it for a second and then actually did something smart and grabbed the gun first.
• “I think I might like Tara better. We just met, but it seems like she's been through a hell of a lot and she's doin' the best she can. She's also really beautiful. And smart. And good in bed. I'm looking forward to getting to know her better.” – Naomi. I like this. I’m just going to ignore that bit of violence between them earlier. They seem good together and she makes Tara happy and they could be good. As long as Pam doesn't kill Naomi.
• Arlene's sudden turn around on Mikey - from 'he's evil!' to being protective of him - is so much easier to watch and makes her much more likable.
• So the woman that Mikey saw - a ghost? Is she attached to Mikey or to the doll? Did she start the fire or could she be Mikey's guardian angel? I'm actually quite interested in this storyline.
• I was pleased that Terry’s armadillo Felix survived the fire (though I had completely forgotten about his existence).
• "Let me tell you a little something about King Bill. He's a self-loathing, power-hungry, pompous little dork. And you hate his guts. Eric, snap the fuck out of it! You have no loyalty to Bill Compton. You are a Viking Vampire God, and you bow to no one. If someone crosses you you rip out their liver with one fang." – Pam. Heh. Wow, that rant was kind of a thing of beauty. Pam’s description of Bill makes me lol and she really, really has a case of hero worship with Eric. ‘Viking vampire god’, really?
• Tommy killing their parents has had the side effect of making Sam more forgiving and open. ... What? How does that make sense? Is it because Tommy needs him more than ever? Regardless of forgiving him why the hell would he have Tommy of all people watch over Merlotte's?
• Ugh to Tommy/Luna. Poor Luna. That plus the Antonia rape and just ugh. This show.
• Are we supposed to see the witches as the bad guys here? Because I’m... not.
• Lafayette and Jesus's storyline is boring.
• It feels so weird but... I was kind of siding with Debbie? I mean hooking up with the Shreveport pack is probably not going to prove to be a great idea but she was right that Alcide couldn't be her whole life. Also Alcide's line that she "needs to keep her mouth shut" annoyed me.
• Tommy firing Sookie – why wouldn’t she read his mind? Thus far she’s done it once this season and it’s weird. Has the show forgotten what a big part of her life that is? Did she learn control over it and I forgot? ...And then she used it to hear Jason immediately after. But still... it's weird that it has been pushed so much into the background.
• So Bill at the end kind of annoyed me. Yes, he let Eric live so Sookie could be happy because he loves her (and now he's going to angst about it). That is a good thing. Except... he and Sookie are broken up and him magnanimously letting her be with another guy isn't his decision to make! He went after Eric so hard because of Sookie (I don't at all believe his denials) and really he just needs to butt out.
