• I don’t blame her at all for freaking out about him, it’s the completely logical reaction to finding out a friend has stalking you and he totally deserved it and yet... I still felt sorry for him. Damn his face.

“If a guy like lawyer Seo had a one sided love for me... if I were you I would cry loudly due to happiness.” – Yoo Na. And In Woo making a good impression on Yoo Na proves to be essential as she proceeds to convince Hye Ri that In Woo stalking her really wasn’t that creepy or something to be disturbed about. I actually really like that Hye Ri was pissed and freaked out at first and needed someone to talk her down. I don’t think she needed a lot of convincing because subconsciously he has come to mean more to her than she realises and she wants to move past it (just see how quickly she goes from freaked out and angry to telling Se Joon that ‘he’s not a bad person’) but if she’d come to that place on her own I think I’d have been annoyed.

• I’m a bit torn about Hye Ri going immediately to Jung Sun and telling her about the date with Se Joon. In another character this would definitely come off as gloating but. But this is Hye Ri who is just so honest and forthright and naive about people and relationships that there is no way I buy her rubbing Jung Sun’s face in her ‘win’. Not at all. I mean this is the woman who encouraged her romantic rival with ‘fighting’. I think her explanation – that she felt like she should tell her – is completely true. I think that in Hye Ri’s mind it was the only fair thing to do. So I understand why Hye Ri did it, and it’s a large reason for why I love her, but at the same it was so awkward and hurtful for Jung Su and I felt for her.

• I love watching Hye Ri do her job and do it well. She has gotten so competent and passionate and I love it. I also love that it was her that came up with a way to use store CCTV cameras to prove the husband and mistress killed the wife together. And while it’s wonderful that she is so dedicated that she’ll sit and watch through a lot of CCTV footage to find what her case needs she does have two assistants who she probably should have made do it instead. It seems like it would be more their type of job.

• I liked what we got of Se Joon and Se Joon/Hye Ri. His expression when she was fuming over the killers was pretty affectionate and pleased. He actually spent a good portion of the episode smiling at and around her which was a really nice change. I really liked that he took her to walk hand-in-hand under the cherry trees.

• Se Joon’s expression when Hye Ri said ‘date’ made me laugh.

• The show did so well in portraying the escalating tension when Hye Ri came home and realised something was wrong. It was suspenseful and creepy and Hye Ri’s growing uncertainty and fear was well done.

• I loved the scene of Jung Sun dressing in differently and going out to enjoy the cherry blossoms by herself. I thought she’d dress differently at work to try to compete with Hye Ri (which granted she still might) or that she might even be forthright with Se Joon about her interest (doubtful but possible) and instead it was about Jung Sun exploring herself and discovering that there is more to life than work and home. I loved it. I hope this continues.

• What is wrong with Min Suk? He has become so – bitchy. Is he jealous because he likes Hye Ri and she pays no attention to him? Because she’s now a good prosecutor and everyone likes her and he’s feeling threatened? Seriously what is his problem?

• Okay, I’ll admit I was kind of hoping that Hye Ri would get attacked and In Woo would hear he scream and would come to her rescue.

“By chance, you didn’t send that person did you?” – Hye Ri. I completely wouldn’t put it past him to do so. It’s certainly something I would by him doing if he felt he needed too. Actually I’m a little surprised that he’s never set up a situation where he ‘saved’ her from some danger. In this case however I really don’t think he did it. His expression was seemed genuinely hurt and offended to me. I do find it really interesting that Hye Ri even considered the possibility. For so long now he has been stalking her and setting up all these situations to which she rarely even blinks but now that suspicion is there at the back of her mind.

“All children are a different face of their parents. They only appear different. Ma Hye Ri is Ma Sang Tae’s father.” – In Woo. I don’t think he believes that. Or at least not anymore. I bet that’s the reasoning he used to convince himself that he could use Hye Ri in his plan and it would be okay. Because she is really just like her father. But now he knows she is very much not, that she is naive and innocent and friendly and wonderful, and he has fallen for her so hard. He’s grasping at straws now. He’s trying to convince himself it’s true so that he can continue to justify what he’s going to do to Hye Ri.

• I liked the little detail about how Hye Ri couldn’t really look at him as she was telling him that he didn’t have to move out. You know, if he didn’t want to. I thought it showed very well how she really doesn’t want him gone but isn’t really able to acknowledge, even to herself, just how much that’s true.

• I loved In Woo’s concern for Hye Ri when he saw her exhausted state. He was just so anxious. I loved him calling her ‘sweetheart’.

• In Woo was so smooth in how he dealt with Hye Ri’s mother Ae Ja. I would have thought calling her ‘mother’ would have been a bit too much but no it was perfect. He handled her like a pro. I found his amusement about the situation amusing.

• I thought it was a bit weird how Ae Ja’s bombshell about Hye Ri getting married soon was never actually addressed. Ae Ja mentioned it, Hye Ri protested and then Ae Ja changed the subject and no one brought it up again.

“He’s like superman. He suddenly appears and helps me. He’s always there when I need him. Even when I first met him it was like that. Hmm. Also... he is overly self-confident however he’s funny and makes me comfortable. (pause, looks down and smiles) He’s a great person.” – Hye Ri. Oh, the smiles that cross her face as she answers her mom about why she likes In Woo, especially the one just before she says he’s great and she looks down and is all bashful and pleased and her smile... I think she cares for him a lot more than she knows. In Woo’s expression as he listens and then with her final line is just so guilty and upset and I want to tell Hye Ri to twist the knife harder because his plan is going to hurt her so much.

- I can’t believe that Hye Ri and her mother discussed why she liked In Woo in front of him. Hye Ri didn’t seem at all self-conscious about it either.

• So Hye Ri’s not willing to take responsibility yet for a relationship with Se Joon? That’s a little unexpected.

“I keep fooling her, yet she keeps on trusting me. She discerns the sincere words I’ve said at times amongst everything else. She keeps on picking out my sincerity. I’m going crazy, Jeni.” – In Woo. Clearly he isn’t going to drop his plan because then the series would be shorter but I wonder how Jeni convinces him to keep with it. And how he’s going to live with himself. I’m getting more worried as time goes on that the series won’t end with Hye Ri/In Woo. How is he going to make up all those lies? How is she going to be able to trust him enough to want to be with him?
