Avengers 4 and Captain Marvel Thoughts

+ The Tony/Pepperony first minute was amazing! Beautiful! I am ridiculously gleeful about the Pepperony part because I wasn't expecting it at all. I love that we get this extend goodbye from Tony to Pepper.
"When I drift off I will dream about you. It's always you." ♥♥♥♥ That is one of the most romantic things I've ever heard. I love the way his hand cups the helmet when he turns it on; I love that he calls her "Misses Potts"; I love the way he taps the helmet on the nose area when he says "about you" and the way he gently rubs above the eye after turning it off. I love how gentle and loving it was.
+ "zero promise of rescue" can that please be a hint for Rescue? Honestly out of all the options for saving Tony (himself, Steve/Natasha, Captain Marvel) I 100% would prefer and adore forever if we got Pepper suiting up and rescuing him.
+ It is so interesting how quiet and understated this trailer is. There is no fighting, no violence. Not even any impressive determined "we're going to fight" moment. It was a very subdued trailer. Plus, especially compared to previous movies, there is a noticeable lack of people. The first half is Tony alone, leaving a message for Pepper. For the latter half we only have Natasha and Steve talking, with them having the most scenes, and they are the only ones in the trailer who talk to another person. We get a short shot of four other characters - Bruce, Thor, Nebula, Clint - but they don't get to say anything. Then we get a stinger of Scott talking.
+ Aw, everyone is so sad and defeated. :(
+ I love that Steve and Natasha at have each other. Not sure where everyone else has gone, if they're somewhere else in the Compound or scattered, but Natasha and Steve sticking together makes me happy. I love their friendship.
+ I loved that shot of Nebula touching what I assume is Tony's shoulder. It's so gentle! You can see how much she cares. It's shown over "lost friends" so can we have a genuine Nebula/Tony friendship? I can't imagine they'll be given much time or development but even if we only get a couple moments like that touch I will be happy. I am really excited about them.
+ Love the shot of the Benatar floating through space, looking like a bird. Pretty.
+ Wait, was Shuri dusted too? That's what her being up there on the screens Bruce is watching makes me think.
+ This is making me think of the people left at the end that we didn't get to see - Okoye, Rhodey and Rocket. Where are they? I demand a short, silent scene of each of them being sad and upset, too!
+ I also wasn't expecting that little Steve/Peggy shout-out but awww!
Captain Marvel Trailer 2
+ I love the visuals of Carol using her powers. That shot of her turning around, surrounded by her power, was amazing. So too was the final fight scene. I love everything about it.
+ I am so here for the Carol/Fury buddy movie.
+ Carol looks amazing in that mohawk uniform. I love it.
+ I love Carol's little smile after "noble warrior heroes".
+ Fury being a cat person is delightful. "I'll be back." I feel ya, I've been there too.
