Iron Man Thoughts

iariaI loved it! I don't really know anything about Iron Man, and honestly I wasn’t very interested in him or The Avengers, but I heard such great things about the movie and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark that I decided I had to go see it and I’m really glad I did. This was definitely one of the best Superhero films I've watched. I think all of the actors, especially RDJ were perfectly cast. Like Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier perfect.
+ The effects were also done really well and the suit actually looked really great (I thought it’d be cheesy.)
+ Tony Stark is a complete badass and also - awesome! I loved him in the beginning all cool with his bodyguards and car and plane. Loved him in the jeep with the soldiers and how he got them to relax. Loved him demonstrating the Jericho. Loved so much him creating the suit and escaping from the cave. How awesome was that?! Creating the suit? Awesome. Taking out the militia and then playing tag with the planes? Awesome. Seriously it was really just one moment after another.
+ Tony and Jarvis and all his other robots? Awesome!
+ Also clearly Pepper needs to make sure Tony is never allowed to have another press conference, where he speaks, ever again. But I couldn’t help laughing and giggling when Tony just blurt out that he was Iron Man. Hee.
+ Pepper was pretty awesome too. I loved her going in with the S.H.I.E.L.D agents.
+ I loved Pepper/Tony. Her helping him change his power source and then basically framing it for him was love.
+ Rhodes was fabulous as was the Rhodes/Tony relationship. I loved when Rhodes found the escaped Tony in the desert and hugged him - there was this look of such relief on his face.
+ I loved all three of them very much. I just wish that we could have had a Rhodes/Pepper scene. I don’t think that we actually got one. But as Rhodes and Pepper the people who Tony’s closest too and who he worked closest with then they must have spent a lot of time together and it makes me really interested in their possible relationship.
