Episode 8

• I was very amused by Kang Woo hallucinating Myung Wol everywhere.

• So how did Kang Woo going to save Myung Wol turn into her saving him from kidnappers? Who took those pictures of her helping him? And why didn’t they show the whole story? I mean it worked out perfect for everyone – it got him out of trouble for missing his showcase, and it got her back as his bodyguard – actually there’s really only one person I can think of: Ryu.

• Their ‘date’ was pretty cute. I liked his sincere confession that “You’re a bit weird. You confuse me sometimes.” He was very open in that scene. And the kisses between them were great.

• The best part of the episode was when they returned from Singapore and Kang Woo completely loses it as he finds himself unable to stop finding Myung Wol hot. She drinks milk messily (it’s not that he can’t stop looking at her kissable lips!), he can’t look away from her collarbone or butt and so clearly the answer is to make her wear different, ugly, clothes (this kind of thing usually bothers me but here it was hilarious and he clearly knew he was being ridiculous) but even then he finds her attractive.

I loved that he’s explaining the clothes calmly up until he actually looks at her in them and then his words just stop and his mouth hangs open. So he moves on to her hair – because that’s clearly what makes her attractive – and tries sticking it into many ponytails (cute!) and then messing it up which gives the best moment of the episode: she turns around and he says “wow” out loud and then slaps his hand over his mouth. LMAO. So he concludes it’s her face and puts a shirt over her head. Hee.

• Kang Woo’s childish ignoring Myung Wol’s existence was amusing.

• I’m surprised that Ok Soon didn’t catch on to Ryu’s feelings when after he over-reacted to hugging Myung Wol she tells them that he’s always disliked her. I mean Ok Soon was just explaining how guys can react when they like a girl.

• I loved the whole Ryu/Myung Wol fake dating and Kang Woo jealousy and Ryu jealousy that was happening. I wish we’d gotten more of it.

• Wouldn’t it make more sense for Myung Wol and Ryu to show up at the same restaurant as Kang Woo or something? Sitting on the beach right in front of him, as he’s working, on their vacation – exactly what explanation is there for that?

“I regret it. I always do. Whenever I see your face.” Oh, Ryu. I loved her reaching out to gently touch his face during their debrief after the fight.

• Interesting that they were aiming for Kang Woo and apparently got In Ah as well. Is she jealous because she likes him or just because she’s possessive?

• The end! I very much doubt that he’s figured out that she’s a spy. Instead I’m betting that he thinks she’s trying to marry him for his money. (After all her parents are having financial problems.)

Episode 9

• Why would Ryu follow the guy with the book? It’s a fake that he planted. Why would he care where it ended up?

• And now the show's turning into Skip Beat with Myung Wol attempting to become a star – except in this case she’s doing it to be with a guy and she can’t actually act. Also she's really a North Korean spy. But still similar! I'd love for her to actually become a great actress.

• I couldn’t actually watch the auditions. There is a reason I don’t watch those type of shows.

• Running for 4 hours? Kang Woo is so childish. Him ‘killing’ her over and over again, forcing her to keep falling, is so immature and also mean. Plus rude towards everyone else.

- I loved the Kang Woo/Ryu confrontation over it. I love them establishing that they both have feelings for her.

• I love that Ryu got to have a hero moment and save her (and save her from a situation that Kang Woo put her in).

• Aw, Kang Woo brought her a gift basket. But even sweeter was him writing her acting notes on her script to help her.

• I loved her remember past moments with him to get into character – mad, happy and sad.

• How does saying that he and In Ah are going out and considering marriage help him with Chairman Joo? Maybe I’m missing something cultural here or just being obtuse but while Joo doesn’t like Kang Woo he knows that In Ah wants him and he loves and spoils her so... I’m confused. What exactly is Kang Woo trying to do?

- Was a part of it lashing out at Myung Woo some more? I can’t tell if his reaction to her hearing his announcement at the end was acting or if in that moment he was letting his anger and hurt rule.
