The Good Place 3x11 and 3x12 Thoughts

iaria3x11 'The Book of Dougs'
+ Eleanor and Chidi were super adorable. I loved them both being perplexed over liking each other [Eleanor's happiness smell, Chidi's dictionary reading]. The date idea was great and I loved Chidi dressing up as a postman for her. Eleanor getting over her anxiety to get to heaven because "you're here with me on this side" was super sweet. I loved the way he looked at her when she was having her breakdown. They were great all episode. I'm still not happy with how they got to this point this season but I'm going to try and ignore it because I am enjoying them.
+ I love when Eleanor and Michael mirror each other. Eleanor telling Chidi "don't" at his 'what?' reaction to Jason's idea of heaven and then minutes later Michael telling Chidi "don't" at his 'what?' reaction to Eleanor's postmen comment was great.
+ "It's nice to know that I can talk about girls with my wife." - Jason. LOL.
+ Tahani making the Death Did Us Part certificate was really kind. I really like how hard she was trying and her telling Janet she loved her, aw.
3x12 'Chidi Sees the Time-Knife'
+ "Your friends will always trust you." I loved Eleanor pep-talking Michael.
+ I love that it's the idea that his friends could be tortured and think it was him doing it that was the last straw for Michael.
+ Michael and Janet creating the new neighbourhood was lovely.
+ I love that Jason got to save the day with his Jason-ness.
+ "Cruel but necessary." - Eleanor. Heh.
+ Jason suddenly deciding that he's into Janet is certainly a very in-character Jason thing to do but like with Eleanor/Chidi it feels too quick especially since it's immediately followed by Jason getting jealous of Derek. I wish the show hadn't rushed back into the Janet/Jason relationship.
+ I love the petty evilness of Shaun claiming Michael's torture idea as his own.
