Meh. Up until those last 8 minutes I honestly spent most of the movie either bored or uncomfortable but I loved the twist and it made me want to go and rewatch a few specific scenes, so I guess that's something. Overall - meh.

+ Camille being the victim of a job gone wrong that Duncan has been supporting from a far to try and find some absolution, and she knew the entire time exactly who he was was great. It completely changed their relationship dynamic and made things 100% more interesting to me. Suddenly her initial jumpiness in her scenes with him becomes about her finally facing the monster that had haunted her her whole life. All their scenes have to be looked at again. I love it. I love when something happens that makes me recontextualize what I saw while still making complete sense. Her decision not to kill him and then inquiring into who ordered the hit was an intriguing end. Maybe even enough to get me to watch a sequel if one comes out.

+ Duncan was fine. I always love Mads. I loved him in that final scene with Camille.

+ I liked Vivian. She was great and clearly competent and should have had Blut's job. Maybe post movie. Her relationship with Duncan was interesting. I'm glad she survived.

+ I liked that there were a lot of women in the movie in different roles.

+ That shot when Vivian and Duncan meet at the warehouse was great.

+ The eye patch was really working for me.

... and that's basically all I liked. This movie is apparently based on a comic book and it shows. So edgy, violent with unnecessary objectification of women. Not a fan.

+ The objectification of women bothered me a lot. I mean the whole Sindy trap her team apparently liked to pull was completely unnecessary! Just snipe them from a far. Done. The bit with the prostitute in Moscow, the random unnecessary naked women, soo many bare asses for no real reason given long lingering shots... just meh.

+ Too much gore for my taste.

+ Duncan apparently not knowing that Camille was the girl doesn't make much sense to me? Him moving there specifically to watch over her makes sense. Him moving there, presumably because she lives there but only coincidentally getting the cabin across from her... eh, not so much.

+ The mustache was not Mads's best look ever.

+ Could have done without the dog dying though at least it was off-screen and I get where they were going with it. You're never going to get a peaceful retirement and freedom from your sins, Duncan! And every time you try your past will return to kill it.
