I didn’t really like this episode. In fact I fast-forwarded through much of it. The end of the episode was good but it wasn’t enough to save the episode; beyond that there wasn’t much of anything I liked.

Rizzoli & Isles 1x09 Review

The Beast in Me

I loved this episode. The show got off to a shaky start and I wasn’t even certain I was going to continue to watch it but I’ve actually been really enjoying it. Why couldn’t it have been one of the fall cop dramas and gotten a full 22 episode season? Ten episodes isn’t near enough especially considering that a) that means there is only one more episode left until next summer, and b) the last two episodes were amazing and it feels like the show is really hitting its stride now. Or alternatively couldn’t it have done what White Collar is doing and did a second part to the season in January with say another 10 episodes? That would have been awesome. I suppose I should just be happy that it’s getting (a slightly longer) second season. If it had been a fall show it’s very likely it would have been cancelled four episodes in.
