Switched at Birth and The Nine Lives of Chloe King Thoughts

I’ve been watching both Switched at Birth and The Nine Lives of Chloe King. I liked SaB more in the beginning and really wasn’t sold on Chloe King but I’m enjoying it much more now. What I love about both of these shows is that at least half their casts are female and that the female characters have significant relationships with each other. Both of them feature great mother/daughter relationships – CK has two and SaB has five (!) (if you count the grandmother) – and those relationships are very important to the story especially in SaB. Chloe King however does better on the female friendship front.

What I’m most interesting in on Switched at Birth is the Daphne/Bay relationship and the complicated family relationships. ( a couple thought on the first two episodes )
